ASICS Men's GT-2000 3 Running Shoe

Ever since my daughter recommended Asics, I feel I have found the best running/sneakers shoes. This is my second pair, and I alternate between them for their different colors, depends on my mood for the day. Very comfortable, great selection of colors and designs. I stay away from the most pricey styles but get great value at Amazon for great quality and style. My shoe size is 9.5, but I get these in a 10 size because somewhere along the line I was advised to go 1/2 size larger than regular shoes. The extra 1/2 in size advise was perfect, and 10 fits just right. I think I might have called Asics once and they may have given me that advice. I always check the reviews for any style I am interested in to see that most other customers have to say.

First off, the shoes looks awesome from the outside. Secondly my feet feel like they are walking on clouds with the phenomenal arch support provided by these shoes. This is my second pair of GTs and my last pair lasted for over 14 months before I decided I probably should invest in a second pair. I would highly recommend these shoes for anyone in need of a little extra arch support or if your are simply looking for a reliable, comfortable and durable running shoe. Would, have and will continue to buy again!

I am what I would consider a casual but regular runner, I run about 3 to 4 miles 2-3 times a week. I had a pair of Brooks Adrenaline 11 and loved them but could not find my size and so I wound up going with this model. I think they are pretty much out of stock, so I"ll keep this short. They were a little wider than I thought in the heel based on the size but otherwise fit well and are comfortable. Heel is very soft and absorbs impacts, they offer good support in the arch. They have a somewhat spongy feel to them, I prefer the Brooks.

Just put 500 miles on these shoes over 6 months and now retiring them. These have been very good shoes. They are very comfortable and I really liked the weight. They never seemed too large or heavy. I primarily ran with them on roads and they are absolutely best for that surface. I would not run with them on trails because they are not designed for that. In fact, whenever I was running and had to go into some grass you could feel they were not designed for that surface. These are clearly road running shoes. Around 475 miles I started to seeing some wear on the top near my toe area (see picture). Also the shoe kind of has lost some of it's support. I would buy these shoes for up to 400 miles of road running. 5 star shoe for up to 400 miles on the road.

Bought these with high expectations. Had a similar pair already and love them however when I got these they were very narrow and nothing in the ad suggested that. It would of been nice to know that before purchasing. I hate going thru a return process so I just kept them. Sure, I can wear them all day but you always KNOW they are on because of the discomfort and a good pair of shoes you FORGET you even have them on because they fit so well. Not these. Better check first on the WIDTH.

PRODUCT REVIEW I will start off by saying I haven't bought an actual pair of athletic/running shoes in about 15 years. In fact, I don't think I've spent more than $30 on shoes in the past 10 or 15 years. However, I recently got on a running kick and realized that I NEEDED some actual running shoes. So, I did some research and came across the ASICS GT 2000 running shoe. This shoe was often seen on many of the recommendation list in regard to “best running shoes.” I found them here on Amazon and thought I would give them a try. The build of the shoe is top-notch. The material is very solid and doesn't feel cheap at all. I am very hard on my shoes (I have wide feet) and these shoes have stood their ground. The inside of the shoe is very comfortable. There is a good amount of arch support and the heel is very well cushioned. When I'm running, I feel no discomfort in my feet at all. I ordered the bright green shoes because I wanted shoes that would stand out at night. And, boy...do they stand out. The color is extremely bright and visible even in low-light conditions. If they get dirty, a simple wash in the washing machine (gentle cycle, of course) and they come out looking like new. I mentioned before that I have wide feet so I was little concerned that these shoes may not fit well. I usually wear a size 10-10.5 so I ordered an 11 just in case. To be fair, the shoes are a TINY bit narrow but they still fit my wide feet comfortably. If you have wide feet, just order a half-size larger than normal and you won't have any problem.
