Book came in well packed and in mint condition.

Written ingeniously, it is a worthy sequel of the story. It shows the mindset and personality of both characters, that amazes us and give us a full entertainment.

I really enjoyed reading the sequel to the first Death Note because they managed to keep the plot line fresh and original and to me, it didn't feel like a rehash of the first in the series. Death note continues its reputation of thick plot line, beautiful art and intriguing characters. I love seeing the task force meet L and their reaction to him which was pretty funny. I am currently waiting for the next two in the series to come in the mail, because after reading one and two, I want to read the whole series. I also enjoyed the crop of new characters that are beneficial to Light's story because it adds an extra element of suspense. I would recommend this series to any manga fan because there is so many different themes that could appeal to all walks of life.

I am very happy with this product, it came in prefect condition. The cover looks great, no tears or rips on the pages. I bought this book as a 'collectors item' from a seller with a great price. I was wondering why the retail price on the back cover was $7.99 and the price listed on Amazon was $9.99. This is actually because the edition that I purchased is from 2009, so the price was less than an edition printed more recently. I haven't actually read this volume yet since my package just came in, but the art looks great as always and I'm sure that it'll be a great read!

Manga did a terrific job in putting together the Death Note volumes. They are so well written and are a lot of fun. I don't think I will read a standard book the same again. I highly recommened the books to anybody probally thirteen and over. I will own all of the volumes when all is said and done. One volume just gets better than the next.

I am a big fan of the Death Note series, so I have already read the manga, seen the anime, and watched the live-action films. My boyfriend, however, had only seen the live-action film and liked it, so I decided to let him start from the very beginning. Now he's hooked on it, too, and so are some of my co-workers whom I've mentioned it to.

Ich habe den Band für meinen Sohn gekauft – inzwischen ist es schon der dritte Teil in seiner Sammlung. Die Story ist spannend, die englische Ausgabe gut verständlich, auch für Schüler mit soliden Englischkenntnissen. Druckqualität und Papier sind top, alles sauber verarbeitet. Für Manga-Fans absolut empfehlenswert.

私は中学三年生で、もとからこのデスノートには興味があり 今では原作も映画もアニメも大大大ファンなんです！！ それで、私は 「究極のデスノート好きになるためには･･･もう少し磨きをかけなければ！」 なんて変な誓い(?)をたて買ったのがこの『DEATHNOTE』です。 この英語版『DEATHNOTE』は日本版を見てもわかるとおり 警察の専門用語が多く、 そのうえ、 アメリカのいまどきの言葉（略語）などが多々あります。 最初はやはり私も中学三年生。 ストーリーの大まかな動きはわかったのですが 日本語版のように完全解読には至らず、日本語版と比べながら読んでいたのですが 慣れてくると本当に読みやすく、解りやすいものだったので 今では英語版のみ、持ち歩いてます。 英語版を読んでいるほうがかっこいいですしね(*'∪｀*) あ、もちろん比べながら読んでもすっごく楽しいですよ。 英語ではこんな表現になるんだ･･･！ 英語では擬音がこんなことになっちゃうんだ！？ などなど。 最後になりましたが、、、 今ブームの『デスノート』を 『DEATHNOTE』バージョンであなたも読んでみませんか？ ここまで読んでいただき有難うございました！

Finally could add another volume to the shelf. The content is elite. Good for beginners also. Though it leaves a lot of suspense after flipping each page. Would definitely recommend buying! Overall awesome!
