Fantastic Delivery Box. Very Happy
My husband had no problem putting it together. The instructions could use a little more clarity. But he put it together within an hour. This is one heavy, quality box. We both agree it is water proof & the size is large. I was surprised by how tall it was and how heavy the lid is. It is around 45 inches tall once the lid is on. I bought yellow permanent markers that would adhere to plastic and traced over the word "Packages" and it came out beautiful. See the picture. It also came with a little tiny sign that you place on the front of the box below the lid that states, For Deliveries-Lift Lid to Open & Hold. I was so happy to see that as I thought I would have to buy some sort of a custom sign with directions on how to use the box. I do agree with other reviewers that there should be some sort of a mechanism to keep the lid open while dropping packages. I don't know what happened with other reviewers saying they couldn't put this together and saw what one reviewer did with making a mistake of not putting in the small shelf first before the larger shelf, but I chalk it up to them not understanding the directions. My husband had no problem following the directions. I feel that you must be mechanically inclined to put together products and be able to understand what you need to do. My husband was taking his time and drinking coffee while he did this. Since I bought it though, it has gone up in price by around $20.00. It is heavy enough where if you don't put it together where you are going to place it, you will need a two wheeler hand dolly to move it, especially up or down stairs. I think it was worth it for the price I paid for it. I don't think it will fall over easily at all. We will put something heavy in the hidden floor under the floor and we will anchor it into cement so it goes no where. It does come with some small anchors. You can see the locking mechanism in the pictue. It seems good enough. I would try to put this in site of your home though for better security. We will put some foam at the bottom of the box, so that when boxes are put in it, they won't crash to the floor. Wish that the delivery came by UPS instead of USPS as this box was too big for the USPS truck & too big for the girl delivering it and the USPS is not trained or safety equipped to handle a box of this size so they should not have had to deliver this product to us. However with that said this will be a good box for USPS to use for small to medium boxes. All and All, we are happy with the purchase, quality & price.

Immediately helpful!
I bought the “used - like new” option and it worked out well for me. There was a little bit of broken plastic on an inside part that was not structural and is covered by another piece. The parts bag was full, and had an inspection label on it. Nothing was missing, and it went together with no issues. I think it would be easier with two people but I put it together myself. It was an instant hit with the delivery people - had it full of mail, FedEx, ups, etc the same day we put it out. It’s been raining and snowing and everything stays dry. We are sharing it with the house next door (row houses) so we put both addresses on it with stickers. I wish it came with address numbers - but I had to order separately.

Horrible assembly (at first)
The (first) drop box did not come with instructions for assembly. The slide show for assembly on Keter's website is confusing. One good diagram of an assembled box would have saved me hours. I eventually found a cutout picture of the internal mechanism on youtube. I really wanted to return the product midstream of assembly. But you cannot unassemble it. Now that I am finished, there appears to be damage and the internal mechanism does not work. So, I am hoping for an exchange to give it one more shot. Horrible afternoon. Now UPS has returned the product to me insisting that it he put back in the box; it can't be disassembled without breaking it! And that won't be easy either. Frustrated! UPDATE: the exchanged dropbox came with pretty good illustrations and even a sticker. I already knew what to do; so assembly went smoothly. Hence, I upgraded my stars from 2 to 4. The funny thing is that returning the first dropbox was too difficult. You cannot disassemble the dropbox. UPS wants it back in a cardboard box nevertheless. They picked up twice and later returned it twice. Amazon insists they should pickup as is. They even tried to assign their own disassembly team handle it. But apparently it is too light for that department. It sat on my porch a week in the rain. Finally Amazon just credited me for the broken dropbox. I'll be using it as either a recycling container or compost box. Don't mess up on assembly or you'll be in the same boat. I guess the solution would be to purchase a large box for UPS requirements. But that is a waste of money and time especially for a broken product.

You are getting what you paid for
It was easy to put together and works exactly as it should. I would make sure it is under cover since it is plastic. It is the perfect size to sit next to our front door out of the way. Keep in mind when buying this it is plastic so I wouldn't put anything heavy on top of it but it does do its job.

No quality control and the worst instructions I've ever seen
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Looking at the reviews it seems either you get lucky or you get very unlucky, like I did, I can't even begin to fully explain the issues I ran into that were fully the fault of the instructions, quality and overall design of the box. I worked on this thing for 3 or more hours, for the first hour it was fine and I quickly got to the final steps, but I had no idea just how quickly it was about to become a nightmare. Firstly, the instructions are a unclear and have ZERO written directions to help you if you're confused by the INACCURATE drawings. I followed the illustrations, which includes confusing emphasis on where to and where not to put the pieces, the illustrations are very detailed and could work as textless instructions but if you're relying solely on those drawings they have to be correct or else you put it together incorrectly. They're not correct and will show pieces connected in different places, different holes, and on different panels in almost every step which makes clarity impossible. I did everything the exact way they illustrated in the same order yet once I got to the final steps and was putting in the lip piece that goes on the inside under the lid hinges, I'm assuming it keeps water out plus it covers gaps, it couldn't lign up with the screw hole and didn't fit. I noticed the door had been installed in the top peg holes, which is what the instructions show, when it should be in the second peg holes. Therefore, you CAN'T put the lip in because there's no space, simple mistake I can just take it apart and move it down. Well taking this thing apart is not easy, Im not even sure if it's possible, because there is no directions on how to do so nor visible indications to even guess. The exterior has nowhere to pull or unscrew and you can't take it apart by reaching inside either because almost every peg and snap ends up concealed therefore you have no way to take it apart. Which is good but if you make a little mistake you will have to fight to get this thing apart and you WILL accidentally crack some pieces, and if you're not careful, break it entirely. The only possible point to start is at the very bottom where there's accessible snaps, simple you can just just pull it apart by pushing them in, from there you could work your way up to remove a whole panel, except it is NOT that simple. It was nearly impossible, using my hands and various slim wedges, I slowly pride it apart being as careful as possible but it was not working. I couldn't turn around at this point, can't install a piece and the doors couldn't work, so I just had to push forward and force it apart while trying to not break it. After more than an hour of this I got the one panel off but ended up with a few cracks on the edges and some thin pieces of platic on the interior broken off. Nothing serious but I was very close to bigger damages which could have been avoided if the instructions were accurate. Even if you made a little mistake instead you'd be in the same situation. Once I had it apart and I could remove the pegs, so I could move the doors, I installed the lip then put the doors in the correct place and thought the war was over but I was sorely wrong. Thankfully I did not put the front panel back on yet and that allowed me to test the lid and that's when I noticed the dropping doors weren't working correctly. They were getting caught on each other so the lid couldn't open, I could move them into the right position and then be able to open as normal, but when the lid closed they'd end up back in the same spot and stuck all over again. Sure that would keep my packages safe. If they could open the lid enough to even fit them into the thing! So I went back over the directions and made sure everything was aligned, in the right position, on the correct side, and every piece together as shown while also working around the inaccurate illustrations that would change important details every page. So there was some guess work but its a pretty simple thing the set up and the pieces are actually labeled with letters so you know that door A should be on the side of panel F (example) yet when everything was together, according to their instructions, the doors STILL would not work correctly and were getting caught on each other or not dropping down when closed instead just getting stuck on each other. I spent so much time rearranging the cords, moving the small door back up to the top peg hole then back to the second that didn't work, looked through the instructions dozens of times, and just trying literally all the positions and configurations possible to get this thing to work correctly. At this point it had been three hours of fighting, disassembling, reassembling, looking over the instructions and customer reviews and photos so all I could do was try to find the problem and fix it. But I started connecting different things I had noticed along the way and realized the issue was that the panels were all warped slightly in different ways. Curving where it shouldn't which I notice when I took it out of the box but assumed it was supposed to be like that thinking it had a tapered shape for aesthetics, then as I was putting it together I noticed the curving wasn't always the same on each side, while putting the four panels together things weren't lining up so it took some effort to snap them into place and onto the base I actually had to bend one at the bottom to get it positioned so it would go onto the base. There was also a very corners where the plastic had gaps in it because it was not lining up together. The direction the panel curved is the way the gap was being pulled add on top that some of the pegs also arrived cut up by machinery I believe my issue is that the plastic is so warped it's causing the doors to touch together just enough to where they get stuck when trying to lift the lid. The only picture I got was of the messed up pegs which I took without knowing the ordeal I was about to deal with. All together it feels poorly designed and made which can be exacerbated by the inaccurate instructions. So you either get lucky and get one that isn't in some way warped and putting it together is straight forward or you get unlucky and get one that's warped and will cost you your sanity. It's not all bad, it could have been really good, and I'm still going to use it, but with one door installed so that it gets in the way, since a box with that and a lock is better than nothing when you have porch pirates. It's a 50/50 on if it's a waste of money or not. Good luck

Safe, Secure, Dry, and Sturdy. Well worth the buy especially for apartments.
I have waited for nearly 3 months to post this review because I wanted to test things first. I live in a HIGH theft area. Just watch Ring posts and my apartment complex gets hit weekly. So I bought this box. First, I placed 100 Ibs of sand in small sand bags in the bottom hidden compartment. As I live in an apartment, they won't let me bolt it down for obvious reasons. The box itself is already heavy and sturdy so it does not move easily. I placed a tamper resistant padlock on it. I bought a Ring Mailbox sensor and screwed that in to let me know when a package is delivered. On all four sides I place signs to instruct delivery's to be put in the box as well. Even my unit number is on all sides. Now, how will has it worked. It is durable, waterproof, and large enough so most packages fit (large ones don't fit for obvious reasons). It had a professional look and feel to it. My pictures show that. It is versatile enough to place anywhere you want because of time weatherproof and the hidden compartment for weights. Best part is, I haven't had a theft sense. I have even watched on Ring where a thief came and open the top of the box to look in and notice the blockers. They tried to pull on it and ended up giving up and and just took off. I wasn't home. So, how did it perform? Let's just say I have zero regrets buying and using this and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Awesome but Beware
Arrived in a lot of pieces and NO instructions BUT after several emails back and forth to the company ( they had trouble finding this item and it’s instructions—????) they finally found some instructions and emailed them to me. Very frustrating. Seemed like flimsy material when handling the pieces BUT after my son put this together (took him about half an hour) it is actually quite sturdy and I can say that I LOVE this parcel box!!!! The lettering on the box itself is not very noticeable so I printed a sign on bright yellow paper, put it in a sheet protector and taped it to the top. We opted to fill the bottom compartment with sand so it’s very difficult to move. Purchased a high grade combination lock for the cabinet so no keys are needed for family members to retrieve packages. Haven’t had a package stolen in the months we’ve had this. It can’t fit large boxes but small to medium packages are perfect. Mail carriers immediately began putting our packages inside but UPS is a crap shoot. Sometimes they’re in such a hurry they don’t even notice it and leave packages right in front of our door. Sigh. Still, once we got the instructions this has been the BEST purchase ever!

rain water leaks through the lid and into the storage compartment! (see update)
SO I just put this together and got it set up today. I read the reviews extensively, and noticed a pattern of no instructions and the security flaps hanging up on the sides. Well, a very good instruction manual (all pics, but very thorough) was included, I had no warped sections, and it appears they adjusted the ribs on the inside of the side panels, as they are only full size up to the point where the flaps drop down by, and there they have already been reduced to allow for clearance. I paid close attention to the instructions (man-card revoking imminent) and had zero trouble assembling it. All sections are labeled in the mold, so to get wrong sections in wrong places means you weren't paying attention to the booklet. After assembling this, the only things I could maybe foresee being a problem is most connectors, and even the hinge pins are plastic. Not sure of the longevity of that. And the dark color of this box seems like it would get quite hot inside in the summer, possibly effecting heat-sensitive packages left in there. And honestly I am not sure what the drop panel attached to the back wall (the lower one) is really for, as the upper panel completely blocks all access when the lid is open. Unless in designing they found it helped the packages fall down completely? Not sure. I almost didn't install it in there, but since the fins were already reduced at the factory, and taking this apart later would be a hassle, I put it in just because it should be there. Didn't want to wish for it later. I don't see this taking real big boxes with the design of the security flap, but it beats all of them sitting out for the world and the rain to access. Will update if I notice any other issues/positives. **UPDATE** After having this for a week, I noticed rainwater was getting into the box. After some investigating, I found when the lid is lifted after there has been rain, water runs out of the slots on the INSIDE of the lid. (see picture with circles). So in trying to figure how, I noticed that the lid is not one molded piece, but 3 separate pieces. The front and back surfaces are separate pieces, and there is a small space between them and the main lid piece. (See picture with arrows) When you push in a little on the front piece, the space gets smaller, meaning it is not fitted as tight as it should be. Therefore, water leaks in through there and drops out from the inside of the lid every time you open the lid after a rain. Once it dries out, I will likely caulk the crack, but a definite design flaw to be aware of.

Pricy but worth it to deter porch pirates
Easy to assemble, and good quality to keep our packages safe from the porch pirates. Only complaint is the sign “packages” is too discrete..our mail main and couriers don’t know what to do with it!

Keeps parcels nice and dry
Good quality, easy assembly. I appreciate that there’s a hidden section at the bottom for you to fill with sand or stones to weigh it down. Mean you don’t have to bolt it to the ground (which is also an option) It would be nice if the door had a little click or something to keep it closed without a pad lock on it. Once you have a padlock on it stays perfectly closed. I’ve had no issues so far. FYI if you’re getting it shipped to Ireland. I had to pay customs on it which I was not expecting

Easy to assemble and works really well.
I am very happy to have bought this. I added a note to my window with to instruct putting deliveries in the box and the delivery people are very good as they follow the instructions... some too well. I ordered a food delivery and the person put it in the box - DOH! 😂 Luckily there was no liquids. I have updated my instructions to only put none food deliveries in the box.
