Love these lights! They are super bright!

This product was easy to install. There where two that did not work, but I opened them up, and was able to get them working again, the battery was just out of place. I worried about the ability to charge, because one side of the steps received more sun than the other, but I wanted to alternate sides for a more all around effect. But there was nothing to worry about they get enough morning sun to charge them. As far as longevity of the light, I have not stayed up late enough to see them go out, and I have stayed up late trying to see. I really enjoy them.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m a repeat buyer of these lights, not because they’re so great but because we use a large number of them. As they don’t have a long life expectancy, I have to swap out the dead ones for new ones just to keep everything looking the same. They’re usually good for one long season. The positive is they look good and seem to be pretty water resistant, on the negative side, a longer working life would be great.

We have a condo with a wood ledge on the wall. We've always had our patio light on all evening. Now we have these lights. 16 in the pack, fits beautifully across our ledge. Lights face our living room, so they're not affecting the other tenants. Lights are not as "white or bright" as in the picture (the way the picture turned out). Lights are a soft glow, a very relaxing pretty look. We recommend these to anyone who has a wood ledge in a condo, apartment, or townhouse. They're really attractive. Guests have said how nice they look. UPDATE 08-04-23 Still excellent. Not one problem since we bought them. They're in direct light all day; start coming on at dusk; they go off at sunrise. Yes, sunrise. They are on for roughly 10 hours every single day. They've helped reduce our power bill pretty much, since we were previously using a regular standard porch light all night. Anyone who's been here at night....first thing they say, is how nice our patio looks. These lights have worked perfectly with no problems, since Day 1.

Have had these for 18 months and they work great - nice lighting over outside stairs. They last most of the night after a full day of sun. Unfortunately four (25%) no longer work. Pretty bad failure rate.

I have installed these on steps (outer side edge only, so nobody trips on them), and on a fence railing, to light up my backyard deck and wood and cement stairs. I put one on my chicken coop roof. I am looking for more ways to use them. TIP: when mounting on a hard surface, recommend adding a construction style glue to the bottom prior to installing (with the double-sided sticky tape), because the screws are useless on cement. I found it necessary to buy longer mounting screws for one of my lights. These stay lit all night long. This is a tradeoff I think for them not being very bright. My only gripe is that they are not very bright. Nonetheless, they do enough to provide sufficient light for my needs. I have purchased 3 sets of these, over time, as I found I liked the 1st set.

I am very impressed with these lights. Love the bright colors and lighting. Made for perfect outdoor night lighting. They make my beach house deck look beautiful and they shine all night. They were super easy to install. I was even more impressed that they made it through a harsh Michigan winter and work great again this Summer. Also I saw someone post that all of the hardware wasn’t in their box and they went looking for the right ones at the store. All you need to do is return the item to Amazon and they will replace it right away. Easy peasy. I had actually didn’t have any problems and even had a couple extra screws.

I installed these and thought my porch was too shady and that’s why the lights weren’t very bright. I decided to test them so I put a brand new light in direct sun for two days to charge it. The light was still super dim.

It works only few weeks then gone. Don't buy

Bought these lights to provide ambient lighting for my balcony. They work as expected, and a reasonable price for the 16 lights that you get. Setup was a breeze, and the lights came charged so they were good to go as soon as I installed them. Do note that you might need to pair them up if you’re looking for something brighter The only negative was that almost all the lights I received had pretty deep scratches. Not sure if this is QC-related, or could just be improved by better packing (the box they arrived in was quite flimsy). Other than that, a good buy.

Waste of money!

Well packaged, easy to install, installed at dawn and by dusk lights were on. Light is bright enough for the purpose and it highlights the deck.
