it is not. but it is solidly constructed. heavy wooden handle, and the flat steel of the throat allows for a higher tension then on models with rounded metal.

What is the screw quality? I have bought 2 coping saws with the same problem, the screw gets loose doesn't screw anymore and the coping saw is useless

I bought this for the same issue . It is a good saw not great .It suffers from the same issues as the cheap ones just not quite as bad .

What holds the non handle end of the blade stationary? Positive stops? Or a setting nut like the Olson? Thank you in advance!

It’s a post and slot on both ends. Very secure fitting for holding the blade. You may be able to enlarge the picture on Amazon to get a better view.
