This is a must have for any DM/GM. The sword in the stone look is awesome. Each plaque is easy to hang and has so many slots to track more than enough for an encounter! Top quality product. Their customer service is top notch. Needed a replacement base and they send me one and more with no problem.

This is the second time I've bought one of these, but I only did so because some of the little flags got broken recently. The new improved "stone" base is excellent. The original one was flat and much lighter and the sword part had a tendency to come loose and fall out. This is a well thought out upgrade. Nice!

To start, this is a good buy. Lots of slots for encounters, quick setup, good fit for me. Not too expensive, looks cool, and functions well. Wonder how an LED coaster underneath would look... The main points of criticism from me comes on two items: quality of the acrylic name pieces and their staggering. The name pieces have some light burn marks from the cutting process and have notable imperfections on the surface that will collect ink. They still work well, but look rough. The staggering distance between left and right is too small for easy reading - just under 4mm. You'll have to look close to see which is on top. Staggering by 1/2 the flag height would have worked better. This is not an issue, but it may have looked cooler if the flags came out of the sword's edges so you could see the whole profile when in use with names. Still, it's an overall good product that fits both form and function.

This product is amazing! I am a very visual person and feel this tool helps me and all the players keep track of who is up next without me having to tell them they are up next. The bottom rock portion has a good weight to it, so it doesn’t tip over in any way when putting in the cards. And everyone loves seeing the sword come out. I plunge the sword in the stone and say “roll initiative”. I find it’s helpful to have the cards sitting at everyone place when they arrive and I have them fill them out front and back for me at the beginning of a game. Then it’s all ready to go. Plus it’s just a beautiful product to have in the table. Update: After using it multiple times in sessions I have some new thoughts. 1. I still really like it and it is such a helpful guide for everyone playing 2. It’s helpful to pre-write everyone names and the enemies. It’s too time consuming to do it on the fly during game play. 3. I wish this product was connected magnetically for ease of placement. It does tend to be challenging to quickly put it together and is easy to knock off other cards when you are placing or removing them. Still love the product and will keep it 5 stars.

Flimsy. It takes a little of time to make it work. Novelty quality.

This was a prefect addition to my d&d group. We were tracking initiative on the map taking up room on the board that would otherwise be world. The only thing that I don't quite like is how thin the sword is. Its not thin enough to break from use but would look a bit better aesthetically.

We chipped in and bought this for our DM for Christmas. I love it, because we can ALL see the initiative. DM puts a clip on the person who's turn it is. It's really helpful for seeing whose turn it is, and you know when you are next.

Seems cool but not practical in use. Better to just use a white board for a faster tracker. 2.0 update So awhile back I had written this review. Using this item during several d&d sessions the party that I was hosting and myself felt that the pieces were loosely fit. An so it became simply eye candy. Here recently the supplier contacted me and took the time to listen to my concerns and offered a full refund (which I declined because I do enjoy looking at the item however for its practical use it is flawed.) The company insisting making this issue right however offered to provide me with a free aoe tracker that they also make. I cannot say how amazed I was to find a company taking the time to reach out to its customer base. An for that reason alone I felt the need to update my rating.
