07047 Land Rover Series III LWB station wagon 1:24 Scale Unbuilt/Unpainted Plastic Model Kit

Purchased as a Christmas present so can make no comment

It looks like an excellent kit, I have prchased this kit as a project, I want to convert it to a Short Wheelbase (88 inch) to replicate 1 I owned.project conversion

Very competitively priced , quick delivery

First off this is a beautifully moulded model. Lovely crisp detail and virtually no excess flash or moulding. It's also very accurate and detailed (I'm a former Series III owner and the cab is spot on!). However it's also nowhere near a Level 3 kit. Somewhere between 4 and 5 would be nearer the mark! It doesn't help that in some sections the LHD and RHD labels are reversed (I have contacted Revell about this). Also there are some parts where the sequence of construction makes no sense and it's a lot easier to do it in a different order. I'm about two thirds of the way through the build and it does, with some effort, build into a very good looking model, but it's a lot harder than I thought it would be from the level given.

A very good model to make combining straight forward parts with some small and complex pieces. The colour scheme works well, putting on a Matt finish which is then covered in clear gloss produces a smooth, even finish for the body. One of the better models I have made.

All parts fit well , keeping me busy and I've done a different colour scheme. Detailed interior and engine . Steering and wheels turn . Good value .

Maquette très intéressante et grande , beaucoup de détails, decals nombreux, le moteur est visible, 2 choix possibles, qualité générale très bonne, bref très content !

Very nicely put together model, a Revell of Germany classic. All parts fits perfect, instructions clear, full of options & somewhat challenging, you'll enjoy it..

Very high quality casting of parts. All dimensions are correct and all parts fit correctly. Only when installing the rear wheels is it necessary to put M4 washers under them. Unfortunately, my model was missing some details and some more. But after my letter to Revell Germany, I received an apology and after 3 weeks I received the parts in Australia absolutely free of charge. In my opinion, Revell is the kind of company you can do business with. I have not regretted buying this model.
