Got it as a class textbook. I'd peg this particular book as a graduate-level textbook.

Awesome for students
I'm in my master's program for clinical mental health counseling and this book has definitely come in handy. I think it is super important to have some basic knowledge on psychopharmacology for future clients so I definitely recommend this book as it breaks down the information in great sections.

Informative and easy to digest
This is a great textbook to keep on hand for quick reference. Nice short chapters, lots of easy to follow charts. One book I’ll be keeping in my professional library for sure.

Book has been through the ringer...
Bought a used "good" book for $75+.... was covered in stickers (I removed what I could, you can see residue in the photos). Front cover and first few pages look like they were treated to the not-so-friendly end of a box cutter. Book might have also lived next to a rain barrel or something, given the crinkly damage to several pages. Appears to have been dropped/jammed carelessly. Also stains, and the least of my concerns--pencil markings. Woof.

Sticky!!
Thankfully the pages are fine, but the book came COVERED in something sticky, despite being purchased new.

Condescending and arrogant
The information is all mostly correct even if it's chocked full of references to 30+ year old research. But please do not follow their advice about speaking to clients about things outside of your scope of practice. Learn about it, but let pharmacists do their job. These authors aren't the ones that will get sued if you graduate and base your decisions in practice on their bad advice.
