Amazon Basics Breathable Cover for Metal Dog Crate, 36-Inch, Black (Pack of 2)

This crate cover was a perfect fit! It has been very durable: the inside wipes clean with a cloth and it hasn't ripped or shredded when my pup tries grabbing it for a chew (he can only nibble on it when he's outside of his crate, it fits snuggly over the crate and doesn't have much drape so he can't pull it inside for a chew). I really like the little "window" on the top; I can check on him without waking him up, and the pocket on the side is great for keeping his leash handy. I wasn't expecting such good quality for the price. I would definitely recommend this cover over other brands.

For the price, the cover was really more than I expected. I love the option to use either the side, or front door of the crate. The fabric is nice and strong, but not too "heavy". My dachshund tends to resource guard his crate from the cats, and this gives me the option to let him sleep in his covered "den" without having to see those pesky kitties. When he has his meals or special treats, I can crate him and use the conveniently Velcroed tabs to keep an eye on him but still give him the privacy that he seems to need to feel comfortable with the mesh "window" sewn in. I don't like that I have to completely unzip the side to access the opening door, but it's not a huge inconvenience. It's a little harder to dry, but easy enough to wash!

This cover is heavy weight and stays in place perfectly---It's a perfect fit on my 15+ year old crate--no light passes through at all--heavy duty zippers on the front flap--we just received it so I don't know about durability/sturdiness but it sure looks very very well made--so many things nowadays look like junk right out of the box and latter on prove to actually be junk-that's not true of this cover--depending on how YOUR crate is situated in your room it may not work for you because only one end has the zippered flap--so do your homework and study the pics of the cover.....

I love the thickness of this crate cover. It appears quite durable. However, because of the material, it is very important to vent it when used. It’s basically like canvas material on outside and thin rubber on inside. It fits my crate perfectly! Love that both long side and short side of crate can be accessed.

This crate cover is so well made! I got it on a daily deal, so I did pay a little less. However, I think it was totally worth the price. It's heavy duty, the zipper feels strong, and the flaps all line up with the crate well. It is completely black. No light well get through. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I ended up ordering one that was a little too big for my crate, so it was a little cumbersome. But if it fit, it is really nice.

Very nice tight fit, No excess loos areas, there is a Nice little 1/4 of an inch extra length at the bottom, but Perfect for no light to shine in around it. Complete black out inside, giving our cat the complete isolation he needs when too much is going on at our house. Every time I peek inside to see how he is, he is K.O. Belly up. This strong durable cover creates the Perfect sanctuary for our cat.

We bought this for our dog's crate and it works like a charm. We'll put his crate by the window, but everytime someone walks by he'll bark! When we leave we throw this on, he doesn't bark and we believe he feels more secure and comfortable when we're gone. He sleeps better as well.

Ich wollte unserer Angsthündin eine Höhle als „sicheren Ort“ bauen (der Gitterkäfig alleine ist für sie nicht geeignet, auch war das Boxentraining, das für Fahrten zum Tierarzt u.ä. unbedingt notwendig ist bisher wenig erfolgreich -sie verbindet Negatives mit dem Ding). Über Stühle gehängte Decken fallen weg, da sie in Panik ausbricht wenn sich über ihr etwas bewegt. Diese Hülle war also auf jeden Fall einen Versuch wert! Sie kam platzsparend zusammengelegt hier an (kann also auch genauso wieder verstaut werden), riecht neu aber nicht unangenehm chemisch und ist wirklich gut verarbeitet. Dank der an zwei Seiten angebrachten Reißverschlüsse (die hochwertig und leichtgängig sind) lässt sie sich total einfach überstülpen. Alle Seiten sind gut vernäht und das Material wirkt robust. Auf dem Beipackzettel wird darauf hingewiesen, dass der Stoff nicht atmungsaktiv ist, weswegen es absolut wichtig ist, zumindest eins der Lüftungsfenster (auf der Oberseite befindet sich ein kleines ohne Netz, auf der Seite ein großes mit Netz, beide werden mit Klettverschlüssen geschlossen) zu öffnen! Ich persönlich werde, auch bei Autofahrten, immer die komplette Vorderseite offen lassen, damit die benötigte Luftzirkulation auch ganz sicher gegeben ist. Auf der Seite befindet sich eine aufgesetzte Tasche (17 cm x 20,5 cm, ebenfalls mit Klettverschluss), finde ich superpraktisch für Leine, Kotbeutel und Pass (solche Dinge verschludere ich gerne mal ganz weit unten im Kofferraum, hier hat man alles gleich zur Hand :)). Die Hülle darf nicht in die Waschmaschine, was ich aber nicht als Minuspunkt sehe; Haare können ganz einfach abgesaugt werden und eventuelle Matschspritzer lassen sich abbürsten wenn sie getrocknet sind. Die genauen Maße unserer Hülle sind 90 cm x 56,5 cm x 64 cm, die Box muss also minimal kleiner sein damit sie drunter passt (die Höhe kann ja ein bisschen durch die Bodenschale und eine Decke/Kissen ausgeglichen werden). Die Farbe sieht auf meinen Fotos „komisch“ aus, sie ist wirklich schwarz. Ich bin absolut zufrieden damit, werde sie auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und das allerbeste: Lila hat sich ihre Höhle schon das erste Mal (halb zumindest ;)) von innen angeguckt!

Quedó ideal para la jaula de mi perro, tarde una bolsita al lado, una ventanita y se cierra con zippers, me encantó.

Used this on a camping trip with our Beagle who likes to wake up early at the best of times! Worked a treat and kept her quiet longer than the children!

The cover fixes with the 48" cage and its a sturdy and excellent material.

I am using this for my budgie cage cover at night to keep them warm. It is good and handy for carrying them outside. It has a net window in the front and a pouch at the back to carry stuffs for my budgies. The quality of the item is good
