It was a fun quad. This starter kit was fun to assemble, but after assembly it was plagued with issues. You will need to flash the controller firmware to the latest Steveis version. The set screws on the motors were all loose. 2 of the ESCs stutter, and a 3rd one had a meltdown in mid flight. The one prop adapter broke during assembly. I had about 6 flights on it, but the esc meltdown was it's last. My advice would be to buy the frame, and purchase better electronics. DYS, EMax, or something like that. It was still fun while it lasted.

Good quad!!
I assembled kit with NO problems, every nut, bolt, washer was there for use!! After I put it together,I researched the KK2 flight controller, and found the settings on Utube, that got me up and flying, with a great flying quad!!! Motors are quiet, and work well. I did have to balance ALL the props,as they were way out of balance.I have not mounted a camera,or gimbal to frame,as I built this just as a practice quad.I used a Flysky 9 channel radio system, and a 11.1v,3000mah battery. I got 20 minute run times with this combo.I also used a soldering station for all the soldering,as there is alot to do.A small soldering pencil wont work for what needs to be done.

Sucks
I would say buy it built already don't waste your time building it. This hobbypower quadcopter sucks the instructions suck there literally just picture instructions don't buy it. Also it takes like a month to get here if you live in the USA.

AMAZING
Great kit! Good for FPV, Ariel photography, or just flying around a park. Fantastic for the money. NOTE: Please know what you are getting into with this kit. Do not start with this if you have no experience soldering or working with RC equipment ( motors, escs, ect) you need to solder the PDB and all motor and speed control connections. The flight controller will need to be programmed. This is not plug and play, look on YouTube for more details and please know what you are getting into. If you know you can build it though go for it! It is a fantastic kit for the money! You will need batterie(s) and a charger, and also a Tx and Rx. And all necessary tooks to assemble. I LOVE IT
