Actually it can and also test your DIY technic, but if you remove and change the block, the product will lose the warranty. We won't provide the warranty anymore after you remove and DIY the product.

so does that little part with 4 holes just go on top of cpu?

you get a piece that goes to the back of the mother board and put the correct head on the pump if its the intel or amd of course and the four hole will match up to the four holes on the motherboard
