can you use the quick disconnect system with this?

Yes I believe you can but it adds quite a bit of depth to the product. I am just using the supplied screws it fits great and doest add any depth for it to get hung up on

its od green , are there any holster for this in od green and for a taurus 1911

It will fit an international holster from comp-tac. I believe they can make one for the Taurus 1911. They made one for my gen 1 Sig P226 w/o rails and I use the serpa strike to mount it to my battle belt. Has for being OD green, I'm not sure. You can always spray it or hydro dip it. I've seen both done successfully.
