Tanamins Tanning Vitamin-Get a Darker Tan in Half the Time Without Expensive Tanning Beds (3 bottles/180 count)

I originally bought this product 12-15 years ago, I saw it in ad in Cosmo while I was at the hair salon. I am of Scandinavian heritage, so white and have such a hard time achieving ANY color, even with hours per year spent in tanning beds. My friends say I am “allergic to tan”. On top of that, I burn fairly easily…but not anymore, thanks to Tanamins. I know this probably sounds ridiculous like a paid review, but it’s not, I just went camping last weekend, forgot to bring my Tanamins with me, and got very burned…after 3 days in pretty brutal sun, every night while camping my burn was so hot it was throbbing and keeping me awake. I finally got home from the trip around 3am this morning, took a shower and 2 Tanamins and went to bed, overnight my red/purple blistery skin had become more reddish brown, took 1 more with lunch, it’s now 6pm and the pain has subsided substantially and it is barely warm to the touch, I will take 1 before bed tonight and 2 tomorrow. That is enough to heal most burns. Usually after something like this, in 2-3 days it is a healthy tan, in 2-3 weeks there will be some VERY slight sloughing, but it’s incredibly rare I have a “normal” amount of peeling after a burn if I take my Tanamins. If I had brought them with me, I would not have burned at all. 2-3 days is enough to heal, if you keep taking 1-2 day after you are healed it does help maintain your tan for a few weeks, I often also take beta carotene to keep up the golden glow and get away with taking 1 because they’re kinda pricey for vitamins, but they help me so much with my burns that I buy 3-4 bottles a year. Ordering more now, bday and 4th of July coming up and I don’t want to get burned again.

I'm very fair and it usually takes many days in the sun for my color to appear. Once this is in your system a few days, color does increase, but the best part is they seem to be really good for your skin. I don't burn and there's been no peeling. I'll never get super dark but these do make a difference. A whole pill on an empty stomach makes me sick, like all vitamins, but I can take a half with no issue, then take the other half and a whole later after I've eaten dinner. When the first bottle is gone, I take one per day at dinner.

I just started taking these vitamins. Healthy for your skin. I haven't yet seen any darkness color. But, these vitamins are good for my body. Especially if you're 50+ yrs old!! Every little bit helps!!

Note that this product DOES work. BUT, (AND IT'S A BIG ONE!!) about a month after I'd started taking them, I noticed I was having my period every two weeks & my breasts stayed sore (NOT normal)! The same goes for my Mom, whom I recommended the product to. About two weeks after we stopped taking them, the issues stopped.We don't take them anymore, and I'm darker now than I was when I was taking them. They did help me get a pretty good base tan (I was a glowing ginger beforehand). But I absolutely would NOT recommend this to another buyer. Sorry Tanamins. :(

I am a person that loves to vacation in sunny places. I noticed that after taking this product as directed I did not burn or peel. Usually when I vacation in Florida I will start to peel after a couple of days in the sun. Once I peel I get a good tan. After taking this product I can say that I did not peel this time around.

Being a redhead with basil cancer cells that pop up from time to time. I was raised in the sun for 5 decades now and as I have aged my legs stopped tanning. The rest of me not a problem it was the legs that would remain white. Not only has it tanned my legs the tan lasts longer. Spray tanning only made my legs look really dry and wrinkly plus it comes off in patches. Unless you use the self tanning cremes which I cannot stand the smell. I put on 30 sunscreen and still can get a nice color. Ordered more!

WAITING FOR RESULTS, ON SECOND BOTTLE. REDDISH TAN. BUT, I DON'T TAKE CONSISTANTLY SO, RESULTS VARY.

I have used these fro years. I like these tanning pills because they work. As I got older and realized I did not tan as easily as when I was younger. Whatever is in these brought that back and when I don't have time to tan, they help to maintain the tan I have for longer. I don't tan in the winter months and usually start sometime in March and tan through August. I usually take 3 per day for the 1st week, then 2 per day. I have always taken them one in the am, one midday and one in the pm, then one I the am and one in the pm, so I don't know if they work the same taking them all at once or not.
