As far as I'm concerned, this may not be the best "snacking" cheese, but it is absolutely, unequivocally the best cheese for making Baked Macaroni & Cheese, and I would not make Macaroni & Cheese without it. I am known for making the cheesiest, creamiest Baked Macaroni & Cheese, and I attribute that fame to Velveeta cheese! I'd call Velveeta my "secret" ingredient but I don't keep my recipe secret. The ingredients are simple: Velveeta Cheese, Shredded Swiss Cheese, Canned Cheese Sauce, Butter, Milk, Half & Half, and Pepper. Boil the pasta. Mix together and heat the cheeses, milk, butter and pepper. Combine and then bake until bubbly and golden brown on top. I highly recommend Velveeta Cheese for making comfort foods like Baked Macaroni & Cheese, elegant foods like Fondue, a side dishes like Broccoli or Cauliflower with Cheese Sauce. Basically, Velveeta is perfect for ANY dish where you need melted cheese.

What's not to like? Items were reasonably priced and came sooner then expected. They were also well packaged. I thought they were coming to my home but were sent to the post office. No problem tho. I am quite pleased.

Nice creamy sliceable cheese with no strong smell. Great for topping crackers; in a cold or grilled sandwich; on tacos; in enchiladas; making a quick quesadilla; with chili; topping nachos or Fritos Corn Chips (remember Frito Boats :), use to make Mac 'n Cheese; topping a casserole or making a quick cheese sauce. It melts great on the stove, or in a microwave or conventional oven.Good kid and adult friendly cheese.Wish they would put the regular Velveeta on Subscribe and Save.Though it's not advertised this way any longer I'll always remember the 'jingle' they used 40+yo "Colby, Swiss and Cheddar; blended all together..."3/14/2015: This shipment EXPIRES 6/20/2015

I received this product on December 31st. The best by date is 24 Jan 2024... Less than a month from date of purchase and cannot return it. Buyer beware. This is beyond shady business practices... Yes, it's still safe to eat 6 months after the date, regardless I don't expect to receive a product that's this close to it's best buy date.
