Keeps the radio cool
Bought this for a radio base station which has a tendency to run a tad warm on 45 watts output. Added the fan on top and it keeps cool air flowing through the vents of the radio and power supply. It takes a minute or two to add the upper and lower screen and the rubber feet. The speed control is a great addition to both change the speed of the fan up and down which ties into the fans noise. I run the fan at a little less than halfway (low noise) but turn it up for long transmission times (loudest). It appears to work great keeping the radio components cool. It does not move from its position sitting on the rubber feet on top of the radio cabinet. The radio is just beneath the top which is vented. The power supply has its own fan on the bottom of the cabinet. The radio is a Kenwood TK-8360hu-k and the cabinet is a Samlex SEC-1223-TK3 (23 amp) with a Kenwood KMC-35 IP55 microphone. I would buy this again for another radio. Note: on high speed, the fan noise isn't all that loud and it does provide a comfortable cool breeze around the cabinet as well.

Works Perfectly..!
I have a vintage Technics SA-818 receiver from 1981. It's in Mint condition. It's been in a stereo cabinet for many years, and it gets warm, and if left on for an hour or more, hot. I recently decided to install a AC Infinity AC-ACT10 fan ventilation system, for $129.00 . Yes, this was am expensive cooling system, but, with its build and features, I felt it was well worth it. I got the ACT -10 on Monday, and installed it immediately. When I powered the unit up, it ran Great..! However, the EMI/ RF it created, shut off ALL reception to the FM tuner..! I contacted customer service, at AC- Infinity and they suggested a ferrite core bead, on the AC power line would eliminate the noise....WRONG.! It did nothing..! I returned the unit, the next day, but was still needing cooling for my receiver. I looked at this fan, and read many reviews, from others saying this fan worked excellently with their receivers. I thought for $14 I couldn't go wrong. I installed it as soon as it came today, and tried it with my receiver. The fan on the lowest setting, moves tons of air..! And, absolutely no noise on the FM tuner side..!! Sometimes, cheaper IS better..!! I highly recommend this product..!!!

Good little fan.
Overall this is a good fan. Just wish it puts out a bit more power (CFM) for my intended purpose. At lowest speed it’s extremely quiet, but as soon as you dial up the speed it’s a bit too loud for my liking. However, this is often the case with all these fans and nevertheless it’s a great little fan if you need less CFM. There’s a fan for every application.

Quiet, effective 120mm fan!
I'm a big fan of this small, 120mm fan. I use it to exhaust fumes from my 3D printer enclosure and it works flawlessly all day. Provides a ton of air flow for the size, is pretty quiet, and I love the adjustable power setting. Would recommend.

Multiple Use Fan
Being a recent install I can not give the unit 5 stars not knowing endurance over time. However, the fan casing, controller, and wiring seem well made and initial operation is solid. I purchased this fan to add air circulation in my audio equipment cabinet. The original cabinet was completely enclosed with a solid back and side panels and front glass doors. I modified the rear panel of the cabinet with openings to allow natural air flow and easier wiring of stereo equipment. However, I wanted more air movement to rid the heat generated by the equipment, especially the amplifier. I vertically mounted the Wathai circulating fan inside the cabinet to one of the side panels. I used the mounting spacers included with the fan kit and secured the fan by applying double sided stick on velcro to the spacers and cabinet wall. I used the velcro method encase I decided to change placement of the fan. I ran the power source wire out the back of the cabinet. I mounted the supplied variable speed controller on the outside of the cabinet for easier on / off access. Also, the controller on / off indicator light can be seen easier on the outside of the cabinet. The indicator light is a nice feature because you may not know if the fan is operating inside a cabinet. The fan kit includes grill covers which I believe is a needed feature. The kit does not come with dust filters but they are an available option. Dust filters have pros and cons. The filters may prevent some dust from entering your equipment; however, the filters themselves need to be maintained to avoid air flow restriction. The variable speed fan will do well both pushing or exhausting air; therefore, can be used in many applications both vertical or horizontal. As expected, increased fan speed and airflow produces increased noise level. At lower speeds the fan is extremely quiet and works well for my stereo applications. The power source using standard AC wall plug converted to DC worked for me because my older equipment does not have USB type connections. Plus the AC source and variable 3 volt to 12 volt DC controller should have more available push than the average USB source. Better to have extra available power as needed. I did not notice any interference using my stereo tuner / receiver. Happy with this purchase.

Using this with a mist fogger - working great so far!
I have this set up in front of a mist fogger to circulate the humidity in a grow tent for mycology experiments and growing cactus and vegetables. I have the fan and the fogger connected to an Inkbird humidity controller. Bam. There it is, it completes the system. The noise is barely noticeable outside the tent, but of course if you set it on high speed it makes a bit more noise. But overall I am happy with how quiet it is, and the fan speed controller is fantastic also. I also love that the fan and controller connect with a plug, so if either of them go bad, you can easily replace with no wiring necessary. 2 months so far and still working great. That's what you needed to know, right? Happy growing! Helpful?

loud but ultra durable.
i always buy wathai fans when i need small non PC air flow. I have 4x140mm fans and 2x120mm fans that direct my AC right to my face while i’m gaming. 2x140mm fans are set up with dryer vents tubes direct the exhaust from my pc directly outside my window. i have run these ran at almost twice their capacity for almost a year now using an after market speed controller and they still work great. you can tell they were build to take punishment

Best 140mm fan w/ a 12V PSU that plugs into a standard AC wall outlet. Compact and powerful.
Best unit out there. It managed to cool off my most powerful Ryzen 9 370 AI Mini PC by lowering temp by 12C on idle. Highly recommended, I will be getting more for my other MiniPC's. This little monster has some power, it uses 12V with a dedicated power supply with a variable speed switch. I bought before a ELUTENG Dual USB Computer Cooling Fan High Speed 120mm 5V USB which has a great construction but has a weak performance and didn't make any difference on any of my MiniPC's . This is the one you need to make a tangible difference in CPU Temps with the heating wave we're currently having in eastern Canada. It requires some basic assemble, manual wasn't that clear and overall design could be better, after assembling metal grills with screws, nuts, and plastic base which is great, a tip on the screws had some protruding that may cause some short circuit if leave it unattended, I used double duck tape to isolate and prevent any contact for each one of the four large screws, and have a piece of mind with my highly valuable MiniPC.

Excellent fan, does the job.
I bought this fan to use as an extra cooling source for my FL2100-B linear amplifier. The fans in the amp work fine but I've always used. extra cooling to increase the life of the tubes. I was using a 12V 120mm fan, but it didn't have the RPMs I sometimes wanted. The speed on this fan is variable, which is excellent. I run it low when using SSB and a little higher when running RTTY or digital modes, where you can't hear the fan. At higher RPMs it is a bit loud, but that doesn't bother me. It sits on top of the amp, above the tubes, pulling the hot air out of the amp.

Excellent Fan
This fan is excellent for distributing heat in my apartment. The only heat I have is in my living room and I have the fan in my doorway that leads from there to the rest of the apartment. It’s quiet and I can control the speed depending on how cold it gets. It’s a great buy that I’m very happy with 👍

Works Great!
I purchased this fan because of the volume of air it can move through a biltong drying box I made myself. I had a USB 120mm fan prior to this but it’s volume of air movement was half of this one. It was installed and hooked up easily and was drying biltong almost immediately. It seems to be well made and the controller seems to be calibrated correctly for speed control, and it’s very quiet. Hoping it lasts a reasonable amount of time.
