You need to try one to see if it improves you star/nebula watching
Filter quality is good, clarity is good, Brightness is reasonable for a filter.

Good buy.
Does a quite good job with my Bortle 7 skies. Good filter & good price.

Works as you'd expect
Works exactly how it should. It easily screws onto 1.25" eyepieces, though it works better with eyepiece projection camera adapters since the image is usually too dim for visual observing.

Awesome Filter.
Awesome Filter.

Check thickness
The filter frame is too thick to fit into a Blue Fireball filter holder, limiting the ease of use in my system.

Not what I ordered or what was pictured.
The filter was not what I ordered. I ordered a sky night filter for light pollution and what I got was not what was pictured or described. The box said one thing and on the filter said another. Too many discrepancies. Couldn't see anything in the night sky with this filter. I'm sure it's a good filter for something, but not for what I wanted it for (cutting light pollution).

Better have a photo editing software on your computer unless you stay with black and white
Only used it once so far. Can't really comment at this time.

The H-alpha is more like H-omega, all you see is dark, and no nebula
Pretty useless filter, much like the Alstar I also got... and returned. These cheap turds are all worthless and when compared to the Orion 1.25" H-a Extra narrowband these are just a waste of money. Save your pennies, buy something else, not cheap (and useless) crap, b/c there is cheap and useful crap out there... just not this H-a
