Fresh Kaffir Lime Leaves (Thai Lime Leaves) 2 Oz. ใบมะกรูด

I live in an Idaho so getting fresh produce shipped from California is always a crap shoot but I cannot buy fresh kaffir line leaves here. The local Asian store has the same issues. In the summer they arrived shriveled, in the winter brown and slimy. Not these! Leaves were in a breathable plastic bag in a padded envelope and finally a paper bag. They were glossy and fragrant, not one was brown. I was so impressed. Best ones yet. I highly recommend them

LOVE these leaves, and will definitely purchase again for the great price! We love tom yum gai around here (Thai hot and sour chicken soup) and you have to have the Kaffir lime leaves. All the leaves in the bag were a perfect, vibrant green--no signs of wilting or decay. It's about enough for a stuffed sandwich size ziploc bag. I put them in the fridge with a paper towel in the bag for a few days to help dry them out, then put them in the freezer. They work great in our soup. We do use 6-8 leaves at a time, but even still we should get a dozen uses out of the bag, so that's worth it to me. * 1 star (I hate it!): I feel it's a waste of money. Never plan use it again. Would never recommend. Item will either be thrown away or returned. ** 2 star (I don’t like it): I don't like it and wouldn't use it again, but may still have at least 1 positive thing about it. *** 3 star (It’s ok): Product has both positives and negatives, and I may or may not continue using it. Someone else may like it more and is potentially still worth purchasing. **** 4 star (I like it): Item as described in functionality, purpose, and quality. May have 1 or 2 things I don't care for or would change, but not big issues. Would recommend if asked, but wouldn't say I love it. ***** 5 star (I love it!): Practically perfect. Nothing lacking in functionality or quality. Love it and would happily recommend it, purchase it for others, and continue to purchase for myself.

This arrived VERY brown and unusable I tried to return it and was denied VERY DISAPPOINTED POOR QUALITY Sorry it couldn’t be no stars

These came in a ever so slightly moist bag inside of a standard mailer. I was expecting fresh to mean anything else, as usually these are hard to find fresh, but to my surprise they were literally fresh and extremely fragrant. I made rice with a few instead of bay leaf as I usually do for basmati and it was just absolutely excellent. Super happy I picked these up - I can't compare them to any other fresh providers but I was quite happy with it for the price!

Great fragrance and taste. I live in the middle of the Pacific (Hawai'i) so getting produce here is often problematic. There were some wet, rotting leaves in the package (approx. 10%). I cleaned the remainder and froze immediately. I look forward to using the leave in my Thai dishes. There is no substitute for the great flavor of kaffir lime leaves.

For the price, I was not sure what I would get. I have ordered the leaves for more $ on a different site, but I stopped because it seemed like a waste of money even though I love cooking with these. When I saw these, I thought that for the price it was worth trying to bring them back into my life. I am so glad I did. I got a heap of very fresh fragrant leaves. I added two photos, one with flash so you can see the quality and one without to see the rich leaf color you would expect. I also ordered galangal at the same time from the same seller. It is truly the most beautiful galangal I have seen, touched, smelled outside of Southeast Asia. Also, I did not order it because it is readily available, but they threw in 3 stalks of lemon grass for free, and they are good quality, too. I got my order two days before I expected it, which was nice. Packaged well. Thank you for providing a good quality, reasonably priced source of kaffir lime leaves and galangal to those of us stuck in areas where they cannot be easily procured!!! Hope you keep it up.

Arrived fresh and fragrant in four days. I’ll divvy them up into vacuum sealed bags for the freezer. My next year’s supply for Tom Kha Gai.

Product arrived packed in a brown paper bag and stuffed in a USPO envelope, rotted and dried out, NOT FRESH AS PROMISED. Unusable.
