I've fitted three of these over 5-6 years. Very pleased with their performance. Don't have to have an Alexa or similar as they work independently of these devices once connected to your network. Can switch on, off, etc. from anywhere, which is great if you're travelling.

Great. Easy to fit. Fits well and works perfectly. Love that you can put the immersion heater on from anywhere. Love it !

It is a little large in depth, so although it can be attached to a shallow back box, the device protrudes out about the same as the depth of the box. It has a manual operation button as well as the App and Alexa integration. There is a small light to indicate power is applied and there are coloured LEDs inside the box which show whether the switch is on or off/standby. There is an automatic timer operation and can be set for individual days as on/off times very good value for money as it is rated as 3kW and works very well.

Reasonable priced smart switch bought to replace an analog timer switch on the immersion heater. Very easy to install and easy to set up on SmartLife app as a Switch(Wifi) device and to interface/ Wifi connect to your router. N.B. This switch only supports the 2.4GHz band and NOT the 5GHz band on Wifi. SmartLife app allows you to setup a number of sequences of switch on / switch off per day of the week. Easy to make a sequence active on which days of the week too, unlike some other timers. The SmartLife app allows you to override the switch and switch it on/off manually. Another useful feature is that you can switch it on and specify how long it is on for. Saves forgetting to switch off when you have manually switched on to boost the hot water available. The same feature also allows you to delay switching on or off for a specified time. To use with Alexa install and configure the SmartLife app first then in Alexa enable the Smart Life skill. I found this an easy process and from start of installation of the switch to having setup the software, switch schedule,Alexa, etc., it was less than an hour. I would recommend this smart switch and may get another for controlling the outside lights. SO SATISFIED I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE August 2021 UPDATE - SWITCH FAILURE The 2nd switch has failed after 39 days of use. No power on the line out, fails using both manual switch and via WiFi controls. Amazon will not accept a return so I have emailed the vendor [email protected] to ask for a replacement under warranty. Will update this review when I have a reply from them. 2ND UPDATE Received a prompt reply from their Customer Services to say a replacement would be with me within a couple of days. Excellent customer service and as a result I will continue to recommend their products. Satisfied and confident enough that I have ordered a 3rd switch to control another device.

I had one of the old fashioned timer switches with all the little buttons on it. Was well passed it sell by date and in need of upgrade. This appears to have done the trick. Quick easy install, took the old one off and swapped wires into new one. Looks much cleaner and modern. Connected to wifi with no issue (just make sure you have your wifi 2.4ghz. if only 5ghz shows up then you have to go into your router settings and change it so both 5 and 2.4 are visible) easy one button control. App is 'smart life'. Easy to connect and then synced up to google assistant. Seems to be good quality from early impressions. Fit is good and I was able to use previous devices inner wall bracket to attach

UPDATE 9 months after installing this switch, without ever a problem, I had to change my WiFi router. The connection quality hasn't changed and I'm still able to turn the switch on using its Android app, but after less than 5 minutes it goes dark. No led/light on the device is on, it looses connection to the app and it takes about 20 seconds to auto-restart. There were no changes to the wiring or anything else, just the WiFi router. Now I wonder how to return it... I'm 99% satisfied, as this makes it so easier to set the timer for my immersion heater. The problem with the old mechanical one was that it is placed in an odd position and it was a nightmare to re-program, not to mention that I couldn't change the schedule if I came home early. It works great with Smart Life app and Google Assistant, I have no idea if and how it works with Alexa or other apps. The problem with this is that it does work only with a reliable connection to its cloud. If anything goes wrong, the schedule is simply skipped. And the shutdown it's an independent schedule, meaning that if it gets the turn-on schedule right, but fails to turn-off, it's going to stay on until next turn-off schedule, less than ideal, so I suggest turning on the notifications for every schedule, to be sure that you get notified on your phone if anything goes wrong. If they allowed setting a single schedule that would turn on the switch at a given time for a given duration, that would entirely solve the problem. Without this small setback, it would be a full 5 stars product.

Great, works perfectly and it’s very handy to use the app to set up a schedule. Can ask Alexa to turn it on also. Recommend.
