Bought these to do some exercises at home and consider these a good choice: I'm a total amateur, so can't really say anything more specific that they are comfortable, you can keep a good grip with the rubber-like coating. The sides of the dumbbells aren't that well defined and this might be obstacle if you do specific exercises where you use the hexagonal sides, but I don't do such, so it's fine for me personally.

A bit pricey, but the quality is good.

This is my 5th set of PROIRON dumbbells. Cannot fault them, they are solid, well made and have a very comfortable grip.
