Love my camera
One of the best cameras I've owned, is durable. Had to buy new rechargeable batteries and found that it holds more and better charge when you use camera to charge. Otherwise never been happier with a camera. Know people who love the wifi and printing functions. Can't think of anything needed to make it a better camera. Haven't tried underwater but, have had it outside in the rain and it still works great. 4 years of use and still works like new. Very happy and hope they keep making them.

Nifty waterproof gadget at reasonable price.
First impression is that this is going to be a fun camera. Have not yet tested just how waterproof it really is, but the seal to the battery and SD card is pretty solid. Presentation in the box is classy, and there's room enough to insert a new SD card if this is a gift purchase. Note that the battery is in a separate bag and you need to insert it before turning on. Also, the battery is likely to have a low charge so don't plan to do a major shoot right out of the box. The companion software, which I have not yet tested, allows you to sync the camera with your smartphone, which makes time and location setting effortless.

Disappointed
I bought to replace an 4 year old Nikon Coolpix that just doesn't take as good of pictures that it used too and I need something that took longer videos. This Fugi had good reviews, but it's pictures aren't any better than the 4 year old Coolpix, and it's awkward to use, size and buttons so close together. I don't like that there is no lense cover. Alot of different functions that don't seem to change the picture quality enough to see a difference. It will pair up w my Android phone which is pretty cool though and can be operated remotely, I haven't quite figured that part out yet or why I would use it.

Great in the Gulf of Mexico!
I have used this camera to take underwater video while snorkeling in Key Largo. It takes great video! It is definitely completely waterproof. I am very impressed with how well it works for the price. Have had mine for months and used underwater many times. No problems and long battery life. Salt water didn't bother it. Great camera!
