I bought the Roofull External DVD-RW Drive to watch the DVD versions of the TV series LANDMAN. It comes in a nice soft-sided carrying case that zips closed. An external pocket on the case contains a connecting cord that has a USB 3.0 connector on one end and a USB-C connector on the other end. That small pocket also zips closed. I did not need that cord, as a connecting cord is already attached to the player--this cord folds neatly into a slot on the bottom of the player. The connecting cord has both a USB 3.0 connector and a USB-C connector on it. I used the USB-C connector since I could set the DVD player right next to my laptop, which is a Dell 13" XPS computer. I called up a DVD player app; inserted the DVD of the series in the player; and the episodes displayed immediately on the laptop screen. I clicked on the episode I wanted, and the player started immediately. The player worked perfectly and was very easy to connect to the laptop. I was extremely satisfied with the purchase--good value for the price.

Now that laptop computers no longer come with internal CD-DVD drives this was a great addition to my new laptop, works extremely well Installation was quick and easy (plug and play) fits well on my desk, works great transferring files from CD's to my laptop

Nice simple unit to run DVD/CD on a laptop. Most new laptops do not have a CD drive anymore. But I have numerous CD with photos on and need a way to edit/copy/print them. This unit is perfect. Plugs into a USB-A and works. When not needed goes back into a nice, included case until next time. Recommended.

This product is great. Worked right out of the box and it has two adapters USB A and C. The price was excellent and the data transfer was rapid. It comes with a nice protective case and is light weight. Look no further and purchase this. I used this device on a windows 11 Lenovo Thinkpad.

I bought this unit to use with my laptop which has no CD/DVD drive. I found it very easy to use simply by plugging it into one of the USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports. I've only had this unit a few days but have put it to the test using all functions. It had no problems reading CDs and DVDs that I've created in the past or factory recorded music and movies. It has a pretty short cord so I used an extension USB cable. The cord has a spot under the unit that it fits into for storage which is kind of nice. The build quality seems good. I have the one that comes with a nice padded storage case. So far I'm really pleased with this unit. I burnt a few CDs with music and it functions at a good speed and had no errors. The small instruction manual covers everything you need to know. It's really a basic unit that just plugs in and is ready to go. Its nice to have a drive for my Acer laptop now. I'd definitely recommend this unit.

Great product. Worked correctly right out of the box. I was using a MacBook Pro and it really was plug in and then load your CDs to your files. The instructions (which really were not needed) were poorly written.

Quality seller, item delivered safely (well packaged) after ordering. Great communication from seller with follow-up email to check satisfaction with product and copy of manual for the item. Simply plugged it into my pc and started working.

i just bought this product and it is really so good and easy to use , easy portable as well as coming with nice good looking bag which can help me to carry along when travel . the best thing that i like that does not need any driver to play .. so i can use all my DVDs with no problem to worry .

Works just fine but I don't know why they don't have a longer wire. I've broken 2 of them because they fall off the computer.
