Dorman 924-070 Rear Leaf Spring Insert Compatible with Select Models, 4 Pack

I used these on a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500, they snapped right in. I'd say they are probably more for a 2.5" spring but they will work fine on a 3". My old ones were like paper. I had my pack apart to add a leaf.

Worked perfect to stop the creaking noise. Had to cut the nub down alot but still worked great

My truck was driving me crazy squeaking. I figured out it was these shims for the rear leaf springs. The 08 tundra has four of these per leaf spring btw. I didn't know and only ordered four. I replaced the shims towards the end of the springs on three and one interior one and they are now squeak free. The others on the next spring were worn but not gone yet. You'll have to trim down the button on these to about 3/8 inch in order to get them in place. You can't separate the springs due to a spring retainer. Once I figured out how on one it took about 15 minutes each on the others. Hardest part is getting the springs open. I used a big chisel to open it and place the shim. Best 10 bucks I've spent for my sanity in a long time.

Fit on my 2005 f150 2wd. The mounting ends were longer than oem, so I did have to trim the bottom a little. Worked great

These fit my 2022 F-350 with an exception of the bottom, bottom leaf where the hole had to be enlarged to fit the stud. They fit the top and middle leaf perfectly. My OEM ones were completely shot and these fit my super duty. We’ll see how long they last

They work but they are far more brittle than I expected.

Cost effective, easy to install, and stops the leaf springs from slapping together causing that damn annoying noise.

I have a chevy silverado 2015 crew cab This have worked for me, i was missing one, and i installed th missing one & like magic all that rattling stopped and no more noises. Even tho its plastic not rubber like the rest of the stock pads, yet it did the job. Very happy with it. Jack your tuck, keep your hands away in case, insert the pad in the hole, dont push or anything, just lower the truck and the weight will do the rest for you. Thank you

Expensive for what they are. They are a compatible replacement for the broken or missing originals. Used on rear springs of a Chevy K3500 1ton with dual rear wheels.
