Betty Crocker Bisquick Pancake and Baking Mix, Low Fat, Cholesterol Free, Heart Smart, 40 oz

I purchased this heart healthy Bisquick mix to make pancakes. In more than 50 years I can't make pancakes, so I gave this a try. The directions were easy, they have directions on the back for pancakes and for waffles, I chose the pancake recipe, it says it makes 14 pancakes. As I stated, I can't make pancakes, this time was no exception, I guess I used too much batter because it only made 8 pancakes and they were really thick, but they cooked up great, not burned, and cooked through. I served them with syrup, and they were delicious! I put the leftover ones in the fridge. My nephew came over, saw the large, thick pancakes and was excited because he thought I made black and white cookies and offered to ice them. I gave him a tub of chocolate icing and a tub of vanilla and he iced the cold pancakes. They held up great to his icing, and everyone loved the black and white cookies, said they were better than the bakery! So now I have heart healthy pancake mix, waffle mix, cookie mix, and strawberry shortcake mix all in one! Quick and easy! All cook up nicely in the pan, I serve pancakes for breakfast and use the leftovers for black and white cookies or I add strawberries and cream for a layered strawberry shortcake. This mix has made cooking easier and it's heart healthy and delicious! I will definitely buy it again!

Bisquick arrived in a timely manner

Cant get this in my local store so thought I would give it a try. Its a bit differnt, dryer than my regular bisquick but seems to work as good. Bisquick is so versitile, there are cook books out there and even many tasty recipes on their website, give this a try.

This is very good product. The biscuits taste great. Instructions are easy to follow.

Pretty good for low sugar

For some unknown reason, this very useful product that I had used for years simply disappeared from the grocery shelf. I like the Heart Healthy version of Bisquick better than the yellow box version because it allows me to have better control over the fat content, and I think it even tastes better. The biscuit dough recipe on the box with added spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, a little added sugar and salt, and some melted butter makes wonderful steamed peach dumplings. I was happy to find this product available at Amazon and have made repeated purchases.

It makes great waffles and pancakes I use it to make scones and there's other recipes online I absolutely love my Bisquick heart smart it doesn't have that odd taste to it that regular Bisquick has it makes amazing biscuits it makes amazing everything! And it's so affordable it's cheaper than flour!

Having to adjust cooking habits is hard, but i found this Bisquick product and have been very happy with everything i have made so far! Will always have this on hand!
