Seems sturdy and secure
arrived early , replacing another one that was only a few months old and would not stop moving on the loo, this had different fittings and hopefully this one will do the job... it looks nice and is nice and heavy . . good price lets hope it doenst move

Outstanding toilet seat - will be buying more!

Flat ended chrome, not quite as advertised.
Good quality, heavy. Easy fitted. Seat slightly loosens after a couple of weeks fitted so will need occasional re-tightening of fittings. Chrome parts are not bullet head shaped as per advert images but are flat ended (see my photo) - not so aesthetically pleasing.

solid construction, excellent finish, very easy to fit with no tools
A couple of years ago I bought what is now Amazon's best-selling toilet seat. And it was hard to fit and never staed tightly fitted for more than a few days. Very annoying. The other day, the hinges snapped... Beware of that one. This one feels built to last. The quality of the finish (mine is white) is excellent. It's very heavy and solid. The slow close works well. The hinges look really solid and heavy duty. It was very easy to fit with no tools needed. There is some adjustment for fittings that are wider or narrower but mine needed no adjustment.
