The Godox 32”x32” Fast-Setup Foldable Bowens Mount Softbox is an absolute gem in its price range. At this price point, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a softbox that performs this well or feels this well-built. It beautifully diffuses light, giving your photos and videos that soft, even illumination that professionals love. The size is perfect for portraits, product photography, and small studio setups, providing great light coverage without being cumbersome. It’s also reasonably lightweight, which makes it easy to move around or mount on different stands without strain. Setup is where this softbox truly shines. The fast-fold design is both clever and practical, just pop out, attach along the Velcro, and that’s it! Folding it down is just as simple—once you get the hang of the twisting motion (one hand at the top of the triangle, the other at the opposite flat end, and twist in opposite directions), it becomes second nature. Plus it packs away neatly for travel or storage. It’s clear that Godox put thought into making this softbox user-friendly without sacrificing durability or stability. While there are other softboxes on the market that come with additional accessories like honeycomb grids or built-in adapters, none offer this level of performance and build quality at such an affordable price. I was so impressed that I ended up buying a second one—this is easily a 5/5 product for its functionality, quality, and unbeatable value.

20170501: This is a good portable soft box. It has two internal diffusers, one near the flash and a larger one at the outside edge. Both diffusers are removable. The soft box folds easily--much like car window shades. I gave 4 stars because it is not clear that this box _does not_ have a mounting bracket. You must have a separate mounting bracket to use this. Also, to attach the box to the backet, you must force the flange of the bracket into the wire rim the protrudes from each of the sides of the soft box. If you look closely at the product illustration, you can see this. That is all that attaches the box to the bracket. It is a strong, sturdy fit--but it would have been nice if it had come with instructions or a video or something to avoid the guesswork. All that said, it is a good product. I will be ordering a second box and a second bracket. 20170507: update. I used the softbox last night to do portrait shots. It worked very well, great light (powered by my Godox V860 II). I shot the portraits at a friends studio, but wanted to use my gear. I set up the V860 and the softbox for the key light, and used a Godox TT600 for a back light. The shots were great. The softbox was so easy to set up, and it gives very nice light.

High quality, set up easily and they work great!

this is an excellent soft box and served me very well on location for quick setup and packing to a very small size for transport. It works very well with my speed light flashes when placed into the newer clamp type holder that holds the flash horizontally. I learned the hard way never to use a regular light stand hot shoe clamp on a speed light as the speed light hot shoe plastic material is easily cracked and damaged by the standard hot shoe clamp. I would give this five stars if I didn't have to battle with it so much to fold back into its original containing case.

Perfect for travel and location use. Packs small, opens and closes easily. Fits onto any strobe reflector or the Bowens speedlight adapter.

Quick to pop up. I bought for location shoots for less stuff to carry. Happy with it for the price.

I'm really thrilled with this product. In one of Scott Kelby's books, Vol 5 of the Digital Photography series, I believe, he makes reference to using a 24x24 softbox for shooting wedding shoots. I did my first wedding recently and purchased this softbox, along with the Godox S-type Bowens bracket for a speed light, for that event. I found the bracket a bit difficult to install--it's a tight fit and has to go in at an angle. The bracket and softbox are both really well-made, especially at this price point. Really impressive construction. The velcro is strong and makes it easy to get good all-around closure with the outer diffuser. I used the setup with a Canon 550EX and a PocketWizard TT5. They held quite securely on a light stand that my assistant was able to easily hand-hold for higher lighting positions. I recommend sand bags on the feet of the light stand in even the lightest breeze. I'm very happy with the results--one of the photos is attached. This setup will become a key part of my senior portrait shoots also.

This does NOT have a Bowens mount. You have to buy that separately. It does NOT have support rods so you need to make those.
