Reasonable Price on a great product.
I have used Antec power supplies for years and have yet to be disappointed. This one was purchased to replace the original factory PSU in a friends machine. Of course as expected, it fit the factory case perfectly and restored the PC to full function. The specifications list only one SATA power plug but this unit had four so is an updated model.

Works great, but annoying fan noise and coil whine
This is probably one of the cheapest new 350w power supplies out there. It worked fine. HOWEVER, it has an annoying fan noise and coil whine that makes it hard to focus. And I am using a relatively low power usage pc (~40w usually, ~75w peak load, using an outlet meter) so it is certainly not because I am pushing this thing to its limit. I mean, I'm still going to give it four stars, because it works, at a very reasonable price. If this is all that is in the budget or you are building a project PC (like a home server for your files) that will run in your basement or the attic and be accessed remotely, this is a fine choice. However, the fan is very distracting if you're trying to get work done. If your PC runs under 350w, there are many "hybrid" PSUs out there that will always run silent and fanless under that threshold. If your PC runs under 150w, you can get a fanless PicoPSU and power brick and have a lot less total weight in your machine.

Best power supply for the money, don't buyer cheaper!
After much research, this power supply came up as being the best for reliability for the price. I actually replaced my power supply in my HP tower computer 3 years ago but used a very cheaply made one sold by Best Buy (actually the company that owns BB). It lasted only for 3 years before failing. I installed the Antec that easily went into place without any problems. The average hour life of this supply is a little over 7 years. I don't expect to have my HP that long since already 9 years old. This supply was cheaper and more reliable than one sold by Best Buy 3 years ago. Highly recommend and made in the U.S.A.!

Making an older computer work with Win 7
I have used this power supply for replacement units for over a year now with no problems. I have used it for client machines and personal rebuilds. One of the biggest problems with all manufactured computers is their under rating power supplies, causing early machine failure. A machine that should have a 350 watt unit gets a 250 watt power supply or less (specially so if the vendor gives the OEM a great deal on quantity and delivery time) and it will last a year or so, dieing shortly after the warranty runs out. Starting with Win Vista, Microsoft introduced Aero and raised the bar for video performance. But this came at a price as most of the vendors did not want to conform, it took almost a year to see video cards that would perform properly (excepting a few very high end cards that were also power mongers). Today it is relatively easy to select a video card that will perform properly for Win Vista or Win 7. I have seen PCI, AGP and the more common PCIe video cards sell here or on eBay for less than $40. You just need to be careful about what the manufacture recommends for the power requirement and add 50 - 75 watts. The added power is all on the 12 Volt output, so look for a power supply that is capable in this area. Many manufactures of power supplies over rate there products using peek power ratings or substandard parts. This is one of the many reasons I like Antec. It's a name brand with a excellent reputation for real world specifications.

OK Power supply
Strikes me as a very cheaply made power supply sold for a bit more under the Antec brand name. Appears to be OK quality - probably comparable to OEM supply in my case. Appears to work fine. Seems like I go through power supplies every couple of years for whatever reason. This is my third power supply in the 5 years I have had my mid-tower case. Last one was a 2-fan 400W Antec of obviously higher quality than this one - but this time I didn't feel like paying the extra for this old PC. I leave PC on all the time - have 2CD/2HD/floppy. When PS goes it has always been on reboot after shutting down 1+ week for vacation.

No power
Received the unit and it does not power up. No power out the back. what’s odd is it didn’t come in the original box. They are exchanging the first defective power supply and said they sent out the second. 3 weeks ago. Still do not have it. Company won’t reply to messages.

Perfect fit for my Dell Dimension E510 system
When my older Dell E510 system failed to start, and the only visible sign of life was the green standby power light on the motherboard (no fans, system lights, hard drive action, etc...), I suspected the PSU immediately. I pulled the wires and tested it with a cheap multimeter (do a search for the procedure if you need it...it's pretty simple). I found that the only thing getting power was that green standby power indicator. Since this system is fairly old, I didn't want to spend a lot on a PSU, so I researched and the Antec Basiq BP350 fit the bill. Still, though I typically throw out some of the very lowest reviews, I was concerned by the number of comments about the sound generated by the unit. I bought it regardless and installed it today. I'm using the system now and cannot hear the new PSU at all, so obviously there is no noise issue for me; it is virtually silent. I read a few concerns about the length and number of power leads, but the unit had plenty of power leads for my system and the length of them were adequate (though the hard drive power lead just made it). My motherboard connection is 24 pin, and the unit accommodates that as well. This was also a wattage upgrade from the 305 watt Dell PSU that I replaced. Pros: Easy to replace, good fit, quiet and decently priced. Cons: None.

No amount of hardware repair experience will prepare you for the magic and wizardry of Antec Basiq BP350 350 Watt Power Supply.
It works. Kind of. I'm expecting my motherboard to die at some uncertain time, and I'll tell you why: I have a 24-pin motherboard. In all power supplies, it uses 24-pin connectors. There are certain voltages to go along with each non-ground pin. They go to certain places. This is how electronics work. When I connected this power supply to my motherboard, it would not post. Connected the old power supply to my motherboard, it would not post. You may say, "Why, Sam B., this power supply clearly fried your motherboard!". As did I. Thankfully it apparently did not. In my frustration and panic of trying every permutation of plugs from both power supplies (for main power and the 4-pin for cpu power) I found that merely connecting the 20-pin connector without the additional 4-pin adapter for 24-pin motherboards made my computer work as it was supposed to. As previously mentioned, this is not how electronics work. Per my motherboard's manual, those pins have voltages associated with certain components that are required for operation. I am writing this review from the same computer with the Antec Basiq BP350 350 Watt Power Supply, whose motherboard no longer works with the previous 400 watt power supply with pure 24-pin mainboard connector that it had worked on for six years straight. As you might guess, this is not how electronics work. But the fan on the previous power supply died and I had a box fan lined up next to my case to prevent its overheating and the Antec Basic BP350 350 Watt Power Supply's fan is much quieter than the 20" Lasko box fan. And while it works for the moment, and no amount of Google-fu could find a reason why, my motherboard will at some point die from this Antec Basiq BP350 350 Watt Power Supply because, as you now well know, this is not how electronics work. Manual helped me learn Spanish and French, though, so 4 stars.
