Great crimper easy to use and comfortable
Been using this for work and have terminated hundreds of cat6 cables with this with no problems. Good value, comfortable to hold and quick and easy to use. I will say that the cutting blade on the crimping part that cuts off the pass through wires doesn't always fully cut off the wiring, although that seems to vary based on the brand of head that I am using, which is common among all crimpers when you mix off brand heads into the mix.

A tool to help the installer. It was a bit of a life saver for the installer!

Crimps well but doesn't cut.
Easy to use to crimp - tested on several cables with RJ45 connectors. It does not cut the ends off the wires while crimping. The blade is too short and there's no adjusting it. If I didn't need it this weekend I'd send it back, since part of the draw is that it displays and cuts the wires while crimping. Compare the open and closed pictures.

Quality Quality Quality
I've been a telecom tech for 20 years. Recently, my ethernet crimper that I used daily and loved dearly disappeared out of my truck(coworker took it more than likely). We have a budget squeeze going on at work regarding tools at the moment. And the replacement one we had in stock was not a quality crimper in my opinion. Additionally, on our company tool ordering site a replacement crimper kit(like the one here) was around $150.00(it did come with a case and a few extras). So I went to Amazon and found this one and bought it myself. And couldn't be more pleased. Its literally identical to the Ideal brand crimper that disappeared. You can tell just by holding it that's its made.with quality parts. It crimps and cuts great. And it even comes with a wire stripping tool and a bunch of pass through connectors. This is it! And for the price this is an absolute steal! 🔥
