Good bucket
Works good for ashes, have had it for a few years. When i started using it, it burned off a paint smell but went away after a couple uses, my ashes were hot at time but overall been a good ashes bucket.

A Great Set
I keep this on the corner of our concrete hearth, and it does a great job of holding all the ash/embers from our woodstove until I take them outside to dump them. I tend to dump ashes into this bucket after each fire dies down so, it may take a few days for the bucket to get "full enough" that I need to empty it. This has not presented me with any problems and I like that the lid closes snugly so embers do not get enough air to survive for long. My Vermont Castings woodstove has a removeable ash pan that is very sturdy and this bucket/lid/shovel feel almost as sturdy. I would have liked the shovel handle to be 6-8 inches longer but it is still functional as it is. Overall, I feel that it is a well-constructed set that is doing all I need it to do. Good, functional bucket
Works well, looks good. Ended up getting a Home Depot brush and brush pan to sweep up more ash but it still looks good.

Great for removing ash from the stove when it's cold out. Holds enough Ash for a couple of burns

Just what we needed
Not too big, holds about a week to two weeks of ash, depending on how long we burn our fire for. Lid stays put and doesn’t just slip off. I like that it has the holder for the shovel. Well made and sturdy.

Solid large bucket
The bucket is solid and large. Unlike others I have had no issues throwing some hot embers into it. I generally don’t do that but one day while burning for 12 hours straight I had no choice. It had no ill affects or odors. I wish for this money it would have come with a brush too. Definitely recommend.

Grate Bucket!!!
Love that it has a lid when you carry it out so it doesn't have dust fly everywhere.
