Zeiss Carl Terra ED Binoculars, 10x42, Green,Terra ED 10 x 42

For me it was an introduction to real binoculars for the first time. I’ve tried brands like tasco, Celestron(with good enough reviews and with similar specs); but was always intrigued by why the brands like Zeiss, Vortex , etc. cost so much more, so I did some research and settled on this one, as I had very good experience of Zeiss in my daily and professional use. What really interested me, is that, experts at this price called it worth every penny and the first look through these assured me they were right. Pros: Sturdy construction average (725g) weight nicely balanced easy to hold even with one hand. Excellent clarity and crisp colours (at par with Zeiss sfl 8x30) Very acceptable low light performance (at par with Zeiss sfl 8x30) I was fortunate to get hands on a Zeiss sfl 8x30 binoculars and found it performing very similarly during day and low light except for its exceptionally large field of view. Distant buildings with their lights were visible during night which were evading the naked eyes. An all rounder. I used it for watching the birds, watched the near full moon, watched a butterfly perched 10’ away and it was excellent every time. Accessories (carry pouch, strap) are all A grade. Yes, it’s made in China, but neither I see any compromise in quality nor I’m a racist so all is good with me. Cons: A somewhat restricted field of view still very usable for tracking moving objects. There are still better alternatives but not by far and all much costlier I conclude by saying, anyone will be hard pressed to find a better binocular at this price. I agree with the experts that it’s value for money despite being a bit expensive. ( the sample photos I’ve shared are clicked with both the binocular and the mobile camera handheld so pardon any vibrations. )

Terra Ed is one of the best and most expensive binocular i have got so far...But i would have to admit that it's worth the price... whether watching forest bird or sky the experience is really trippy.. Go for it if budget is not issue for you..

Looks sturdy, is easy to handle, compact and covers good distance - yet to use it in the nature though. Comped with strap and good box.

Kidney bechni padegi bhai....in order to buy this. But it's better durbeen . Visibility clear even in night , so go for it.

Quality of the ZEISS binoculars is awesome. No brand is comparable and really worthy. You will not regret it. It is value for money.

Ein sehr schönes Fernglas. Von den Abmaßen nicht groß, daher ist es beim Tragen nicht hinderlich. Es ist nicht schwer, ein längeres Tragen ist kein Problem. Das Sichtfeld ist unglaublich klar und hell. Eine Tragebox ist im Lieferumfang enthalten, diese könnte am Hosengürtel befestigt werden. Zur Wild- und Vogelbeobachtungen ist es sehr gut geeignet, genauso auch für Strand und Landschaften. Es ist ein sehr gutes Fernglas. Von mir daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Be aware that these Zeiss binoculars are 'designed in Germany, but made in China' - not what I expected from the brand. Very good binoculars, perhaps priced too high

Me enviaron unos prismáticos… , comprado como NUEVO, FOTOS, los DEVOLVÍ Tienen muy buena visión , muy clara, los volveré a comprar nuevos y precintados. Zeiss. Es calidad de visión. Lo aconsejo siempre que cumpla requisito fundamentales : que quieras una visión clara, 10 aumentos y que los estrenes nuevos

Fantastic binoculars . I have used several before but none have compared with these. Fantastic colour in different levels of light.
