great product. i didn't need to use the shock option after the 1st time. After the first time i switch it to vibrate, and it worked just the same for my dog and I. Remote works great.

I bought this for my bloodhound German Shepherd mix and I’ve been using it on outings to keep them under control and it works amazing. Never let me down battery still holds a good charge only setting. I need to use the beep any lessons amazing product and I couldn’t recommend it higher. Definitely a must purchase.

The item is not water proof. It might be resistant though in light rain. This should be used with caution, and in conjunction with real training methods for reinforcement and to get attention of a stubborn animal. NOT as the only way to manage behavior - it does not fix behavoir it geabs the animals attention so you can train. It does work, but should be used with caution and only temporarily to get through a training barrier.

Work great on my dog! Exactly as described

This item is pretty good, I’ve got a dog who used to run off, (dangerous coyotes, moving cars ) this would call her back when she’d take off on me and it worked great in that regard esp for the price. This is the 3rd time I’m buying jt because she somehow was able to get the collar off and for the second time , the collar isn’t responding ! So I have no idea where it is! If only it would work every time when needed I’d give it a 5 star rating Only reason why I’m buying this again is because the remotes are compatible and you could reuse them so like I have two remotes, maybe one day the collar will show up. Seems like when I really needed to work. It doesn’t work. It just needs to be reset or reprogram at most inopportune time !

We got this to keep our pet from continuing a pattern of misbehavior that we tried everything else to correct. This was a last resort as we do not prefer to use pain as a deterrent, but during initial set up, we realized there was no real threat at hand. We tested the max setting on ourselves first to determine a proper setting for pur pet...and that test revealed that it delivered more of a strong vibration rather than a shock of electricity. In addition to the disappointing power level, the design of the collar was odd in that it required it to be very tightly fit around the neck to function due to the fact that it consisted of two points of contact that must be touching the animal to complete the circuit and engage the vibration. It just wasn't very feasible to have the collar so tight in order to activate it...even with the remote. If those two point on the collar weren't both making contact with the animal, the device did not function. And animals are smart and will quickly figure this out as well. The collar itself was bulky and cumbersome to the animal and having to place it so tight only made it worse. The quality was lacking as the materials seemed cheap and easily broken and even though we did not pay much for it, it still wasn't worth the price. We tried it for about two days and just couldn't see any benefit from it at all. Very disappointing all around.

Very helpful tool

This thing lasted me going 3 years but after 2 it runs the batteries dry after 12 hours so I do need to get a new one. Other wise those works so well. Also water proof because he has worn it in the rain

This is a great training device, but if your dog is wearing the collar, don’t forget if you’ve put the controller in your pocket. I accidentally leaned against it and shocked my dog by mistake. So now I only turn on the controller when I need to use it. It powers up quickly. It acts as a great calming device for my hyper dog. All I have to do it beep it to get his attention. That mistake zap has left a permanent impression.

This thing has been excellent. Gets the dogs attention even before you have to zap him... A great way to correct your pet. Love it. I would buy this again. Seller was excellent to deal with!

I think possibly because of my dogs thicker fur, that this collar didn't really work. I did tey it on the vibrate setting though and my dog really dod not like the vibrate and it caused him to wine/bark.. so not suoer helpful in my case haha
