I’ve been repurchasing this product regularly and it’s been working great. Compared to getting a down perm at a salon, which can be quite expensive. This is a much more affordable option to do at home. The results aren’t exactly salon-level, but honestly, they’re pretty impressive and satisfying for a DIY product. One downside is that the instructions could be more detailed. I recommend watching videos on YouTube before using it. They help a lot. Everyone’s hair is different, so the product might need to stay on longer than the instructions say. In my case, I leave it on for about 15–20 minutes before rinsing. Important tip: rinse with just water, not shampoo. If it feels a bit sticky, you can use a small amount of conditioner. For best results, avoid shampooing your hair for 24–48 hours after using the product and let the perm set properly. Great product overall, highly recommend it if you're looking to save money and still get solid results!

Works for a week or two based on my thin hair. The smell lingers for a while. Once you sweat the smell comes out again and it’s hard to get rid of the smell all together.

I use this on some of my clients in the salon that have strong cowlicks. Works wonders! However the smell is terrible!! That's the only reason I took away one star. Other than that the product does as intended and better.

This is the second time I bought this product, it absolutely works! If it can tame my straight and stiff hair that sticks out like porcupine, it works. Expectations have to be set right. This is a tube of easy to apply cream that works in minutes, not your traditional perm. It will help make the hair more manageable, but one still needs to style it with products. Also, there is enough in each tube for multiple uses, last me months. Lastly, it does have that typical perm chemical smell, but very mild not where need that of a traditional product.

This product smells horrible and does not work. I had a trip coming up and it was time for me to touch up my down perm and I decided to try to save some money and try this product out. I usually use the DPerm brand and that one costs about $45. This one was only $17ish so I was like… why not? I followed the instructions to the letter and this product actually ended up UNDOING the down perm I already had in my hair!!! My hair ended up poofier than before and I ended up having to go on this trip anyway and wear a headband the entire time. I have VERY coarse hair the grows straight out. Like each individual strand is three times the thickness of the average hair. The only thing I can think of that went wrong is that the DPerm is a concentrated formula and is able to penetrate deeper into my coarse hair. Maybe this product works on finer “coarse” hair. But for all of you southeast/eastern Asian guys out there with THICK porcupine hair that give you hair splinters after the barber shop… save your money and invest in the more expensive option.

I worked as a stylist for more than ten years before I had my kids. I am still doing hair for my family and friends. I wanted to try this product on my boys' hair. Their hair isn't coarse (thick or stubborn), but it still works, as shown in the photo or as explained. This was my second attempt. I just wanted to give it another try, and I did not have huge expectations since these are not professional use products that Asian salons would use, but still, it did not even meet my lowest expectations. I give it two stars because it helped to tame the hair down a little, just not as shown down in the photos as it calls or advertises as down perm

I have used another down perm before. I like this one better simply because the processing time is 10 minutes vs 20 minutes. Perfect for laying down short straight hair on the sides. The key is to not flatten the sides too much so that it can look natural and blend in with the top hair. I applied it for my husband and he was very happy with the results. Simple instructions and easy to apply. There is enough product for multiple uses. Highly recommend!

La verdad funciona bien, es verdad que el tiempo que tienes que dejarlo es más largo que los 10 min que dicen, pero funciona, luego respecto al olor, se te quita después de la 1 o segunda lavada, ósea que no causa “problema” hacerlo una noche o día que no salgas y lo tienes. Podeis usar el papel film para ponerlo justo encima de la zona donde uses el producto, para mejorar la eficiencia, yo si la recomendaría, y eso que tengo un cabello, bastante bastante grueso y muy liso ( chino ), espero les sirva mi experiencia.

It was actually so quick and i got my desired result. My only problem was the paper sheet that is in the box it was not sticking to my hair besides that honestly impressed.
