Great product
Strong, Durable and lightweight, Good size, excellent value for money. This pattern looks great. The only thing I dont like is that the bowls dont stack well on top of each other, but its not a big deal for me.

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everyday Elegance That Stands Up to Real Life**
I treated myself to the Corelle Vitrelle 18‑piece Portofino set after chipping one too many stoneware plates, and it’s been an instant upgrade to both my table and my sanity. The triple‑layer glass feels feather‑light yet remarkably solid—no clunky heaviness when you stack six dinner plates, and absolutely no flex or wobble when loaded with a hearty roast. After a month of daily breakfasts, dishwasher cycles, and a few microwave re‑heats, every piece still looks fresh out of the box; not a single chip, scratch, or stain to be found. The Portofino pattern is a subtle show‑stopper: the soft blue rim and crisp white center dress up weeknight stir‑fries yet pair effortlessly with linen napkins for Sunday brunch. I love how the bowls nest perfectly without sticking, freeing an entire half‑shelf in my cabinet—something my old stoneware could never manage. Even the kids have given up their plastic plates because these are so light and easy to handle; one accidental drop on tile ended with a harmless bounce instead of shattered shards. Cleanup is a breeze—no weird gray utensil marks, and sauces slide right off in the dishwasher. The slim profile means six place settings fit in a single rack, so I’m running fewer loads and saving water. Whether I’m plating takeout pizza or setting a full holiday spread, this Corelle set delivers durable, space‑saving beauty that feels far more expensive than it is. Five stars, hands down—the last dinnerware I’ll need for years.

Beautiful, tough and oh so versatile!
This set is both beautiful and practical! It gives the impression of the classic blue willow patterns of the past, but it is in fact a modern remake using Vitrelle, which is Correl’s latest and greatest material. It is lightweight and durable.. I use it both for every day and for special occasions. Mixes and matches with other non- Correl dishes. I put it with solid white stoneware type plates for special occasions and it looks just gorgeous.! The price for the open box set was so reasonable that I decided to buy a second set so now we have service for 12. The open box set was well worth the price.! it arrived in perfect shape with no issues whatsoever and literally as good as new! So far it has proven chip and scratch resistant. It has performed well in the dishwasher and in the microwave. It also goes really well with all the blue ceramic pieces that Amazon sells. Have fun with this set! You can’t go wrong!

Perfect except the clunky bowls
I have wanted to invest in a set of Corelle dishwasher for several years, but haven't really liked many of their recent patterns until I saw the Portofino design. I fell in love with it and, since my old everyday (non-Corelle) dishes were chipped and losing their glaze, I decided to go for it! I bought a full set of the Portofino collection, down to the water and gravy pitchers. Had there been a cream and sugar set, I would have sprung for that too! I was all in. And I am super happy with my decision! The plates are beautiful and lightweight. They fit so well in the dishwasher and stack efficiently in our cupboard. In fact, the efficiency of Corelle dishware has always been one of its major draws to me. Which is why I find the design of the Portofino bowls so maddening. These bowls don't taper, so they don't stack well within each other on the shelf, which means they take up twice the amount of space they should in the cupboard. And when it comes to loading them in the dishwasher, forget efficiency. You'll have to skip a space in most racks, whether you use the upper or lower rack, in order to ensure there's enough space between the bowls for water to flow between them to get them clean. Why, Corelle? WHY??? So, if this is the kind of thing that drives you mad, I would suggest not purchasing the complete Portofino set, but instead purchase the plates separately and then purchase other Corelle bowls that do taper in white or one of the white patterns with a blue stripe around the rim. That's what I intend to do, and I'll either stash the clumsy Portofino bowls in the dark recesses of a hard-to-reach cabinet or donate them to a thrift store. Note to the good folks at Corelle: Your products are amazing, but these bowls are clunkers! EDIT: I did decide to swap out the bowls that came with the Portofino set with white Corelle Livingware bowls with an Ocean Blue stripe on the rim. They stack perfectly in half the space in my cupboard, fit efficiently in the upper rack of my dishwasher, and coordinate perfectly with the blues in the Portofino plates.

I’m happy with it, but know what you’re getting
I appreciate the quality of Corelle so much. How light and compact (stacking) the dishes are, that they don’t break, chip, or scratch. They last for years looking good as new. Decades even! They’re a great value. They’re not plastic: nontoxic for the win! For the most part though, the patterns leave me cold. I guess country isn’t my vibe. But the Knox pattern I can get behind. I like its subtle geometric sophistication and neutral-ish sage green tone. To me it reads as bee-adjacent. Be aware, however, the smaller plates are not salad-sized. They’re too small for salad, they’re more like an appetizer or a dessert plate. I will likely use the bowls for salad. (I like that the bowls have a coordinating trim.) Also the design on the dinner plates has a distressed, faded element. At first I thought it was a defect but it’s part of the design. I purchased a returned set. I’m thrifty that way. It was packaged horribly. Really just tossed in the box. But it came through with flying colors! That’s how durable Corelle is. I’m very happy with this set. Nice job on this design, Corelle.

Very heavy and nice dishes. Almost deceiving how small the plate is compared to how heavy it is. Also, don’t test it, but I dropped one from the sink as I was cleaning it. And it didn’t even scratch. It just bounced off the floor like a ball. Stop buying cancerous dishes full of lead. Start investing in good companies like this, pay the extra money for the high quality and safety and stop letting the canindian government gaslight you into thinking the US doesn’t have health standards that are worlds ahead of chinas. Every dish I get from China tests positive for lead. Unlike this American one which doesn’t directly say it’s lead free, has zero PPM of lead when I tested 8 dishes at random. The standard of quality in the states are why you pay higher prices for it. When the government tells you to buy canindian, they really mean buy toxic, lead based crap from China that will sterilize you, paving the way for 70 year old Ahmed to drive through a daycare and disintegrate a kid (this happened). Essentially, do the opposite of what the government says. Which is why I came across this company. I almost exclusively buy American now, and while the price is higher, I’ve noticed the quality of everything I buy significantly improve. Just go buy tape made in china, and tape made in the states. You’ll see.

These bad babies will last you generations! These are so lightweight, don’t chip and you might get bored of the same plates but they themselves won’t give you a reason to change them because they just don’t break.

Such lovely dinner set. I love the pattern and the imperfection of the color and painting gives an impression that they are hand made. Bought it cause I need a light set to save my alumunium dish rack that looks like its struggling to carry the heavy weight of my ceramic diner set, really love how light it is. Though ceramic plates do look prettier at times. I dont fancy their bowls though, i think the shape design needs to be improved to allow easy stacking. It was stuck to each other so hard when it came, it took me hours to figure out how to free them.
