Loading Block L Frame& Python

Safariland does it again. Very well built, easy to use. Saves tons of times reloading the speed loaders.

I have used this tray in the past and the tray has not changed in 20 years it does the job and saves you time on the shooting range. I would suggest the HKS speedloaders the Safariland speedloaders and no longer made of metal and just don't work as well as the HKS loaders. I couldn't get the new Safariland speedloaders to work correctly. The old ones I use to have were all metal and were the best speedloaders I have every had I would pay extra if I could get the Safariland metal speedloaders. Both the HKS and Safariland loaders work with this tray.

This is a great thing to have to load your speedloaders more comfortably and maybe faster. I say maybe, coz you have to take time to put the bullets on the block and that takes about the same time to put 'em directly on the speedloader... so if not faster, definetely more comfortable. I give it a 4, instead of a 5, for a couple of reasons. The first is the size. It's too big to fit into my range bag. So when I take it to the range, I have to keep it outside my range bag. This isn't a problem if you're practicing for the day, but might be a problem if you're moving from one place to another in a competition as it becomes impractical. Because of the size, it can hold up to 84 bullets at one time. Which I think is good. However, ammo boxes usually have 50 shots... so 84 is a bit more than a box and a half. It may not be an inconvenience, but you'll have to empty the second half of the ammo box later instead of doing it all at once. I might be nit picking here, but I just think 84 is an odd number to work with. (I do know the fact that revolvers carry 6 shots makes the "math" of the matter complicated already.) Finally, it has a little handle, which I'm now considering of removing. The reason is that the speedloader won't fit to pick up the shots next to the handle. So you'll have to either remove the handle, or not use the spots next to it because of this issue. All in all, it's a good product and practical, but it'd be a better product if it were a bit smaller and without the handle. I'm actually considering not using the handle and maybe cutting it shorter to fit in my range bag.

I accidentally purchased this loading block for S&W L Frame Revolvers. I discovered that rounds fit loose enough for me to use my K frame speedloaders. Now I have a block for both types of speedloaders. The block is well made and the handled is attached with two screws which give you the option of not using handle for a flat carry in a bag.

If you shoot revolvers and a fan of wheel guns, then this is perfect for you! I have a few revolvers that uses the same size speedloaders so I was able to use this on my 2 Colt MKIIIs, and Colt Python. This tray can also be used on the Ruger Gp100 and S&W L frames (686, 586) Great item to have at the range! You'll thank me later :)

Works great and saves time. Just a little long in size and does not fit into my travel box.

Doesnt work with 38s safari comp 2 gp100 set up going in the garbage very soon no no no no
