Great product
I used this product 6 years ago when my son had cradle cap as a baby. Now that I have a daughter, I couldn't find it anywhere but here on Amazon. It works like a charm. My daughter's cradle cap cleared up after a few days of using this. The trick is to get the hair/head (my baby was mostly bald, so not too much hair there to shampoo) and then rub it on. Let it sit for a few minutes, or as long as baby will let you keep it on, and then scrub it with a washcloth or baby brush. I actually preferred using a combination of the soft-bristled baby hairbrush and baby comb. The comb helped remove the flakes that came off and the brush helped loosen the scabby skin. It does have an odd smell, so I would recommend using baby shampoo after treatment to make baby's head smell better.

really works!
My daughter had the beginning stages of cradle cap, which resulted in 2 fairly large and scaly/flaky hairless patches on her head! I used this ONCE and could see the flakes coming off immediately! Make sure you read and follow the intructions as it is NOT shampoo (like i thought) if you wash all of their head with it, it will be really really greasy! Just rub it in to affected areas, and rinse, then shampoo as normal. I used a soft brush to scrub her head! This stuff has a REALLY strong smell and 3 shampoos later you can still smell it! Not a bad smell, kind of a baby powder scent.

Does the job
We bought this product for our 6 month old son and it works wonders on his scalp. No more flaky skin. The smell is a bit strong so we rinse him and then wash his hair with the regular baby shampoo.

Love Love Love this - It works!
This stuff works so great! We went to a dermatologist and our Peditrician for my child's scaly, itchy scalp. He also has eczema. As a baby he had cradle cap and I have used this product since then on/off as needed! It works so fast and is the only product I have found that gets rid of the scales, redness and itch. Honestly- ONLY PRODUCT that would work and fast! Now, I use it to maintain about 1x or 2x a week. However, I do use Johnsons No tears shampoo during the same wash because otherwise it is super oily looking. I just wash his head 2 times and it is fine. But it's worth it! No bad smell like some reviews said? Maybe because I wash it with Johnson and Johnson right after twice.

great product, removed cradle cap in only a few applications
This is a great product! I chose it because a friend recommended it and it had great Amazon reviews. I used it on my son's hair while dry and then combed thru his hair gently scraping the scales, and then I washed it out. It didn't come out completely after two shampoos. So, I just left it in his hair and then repeated the process two days later. You have to use a soft brush or comb to get the scales off. The following day I didn't use the product, but shampooed his hair twice to get any left over product out and the cradle cap was gone! It will take a few shampoos to get the product completely out of the baby's hair (if they have a lot of hair), but otherwise it works great!

Great product!! Really worked!!
My little one had the cradle cap really bad!! It was so painful scrapping it everyday while she cried in pain and then watching it come right back by the next day. But gentle natural was amazing, it started working right away and clear the cradle cap in less than a week. Now my daughters scalp smells nice like a baby's hair should!!

Made cradle cap worse
Waste of money. I was trying to find something to get rid of my son's cradle cap & wouldn't leave his hair greasy. I tried this several times & each time it only made the cradle cap worse. I finally just went back to trying baby oil & my son's head is already 10x better.
