I just can't keep them alive

32 seeds, not a single bean has grown. I've tried several methods, locations and environments, nothing. Seller promised to send full refund in 24 hours. It's been a week and no refund.

Searching for these bean seeds to help my husband treat his Parkinson’s disease. Plan to grow them somewhere this summer if they sprout to add occasional black velvet beans as a side dish for him. There are a source of the same chemicals that are in his medication.

Mine came up fine. A few didn’t but that’s natural. They do take a long time to germinate though so be patient. I thought they weren’t going to come up and almost forgot about them , then pop took about 17-20 days to come up. Good luck!

I paper towel popped one seed to see if it is viable. It popped in less than a week.

Only 3 germinated out of 21 seeds. They’re 7” tall. I’m still hoping I get a harvest.

I scarified and soaked the seeds. I got a few to grow and the giant lubber grasshoppers had a dopamine overload and atecall the leaves. Grow inside or screened in.
