Schallen Chrome Silver Metal High Velocity Cold Air Circulator Adjustable Floor Fan with 3 Speed Settings (18")

This is our 3rd Schallen Floor fan. This is the fan you need for hot weather. I bought this one for downstairs. We have one in each of the bedrooms upstairs. These fans spin so fast, they create cold air. With convential fans, all you're doing is blowing the hot air around the room, not with these! Then because they're floor fans, heat of course rises so the cooler air is at floor level, its nothing but a win win situation. You can tilt them if you wish, to angle the direction of the breeze, so still good if you're sitting on furniture. The first one of these I bought was in 2022, it is still brilliant and going strong. You can remove the front cover to clean them too. The ones we have are 14', everytime I have bought another one, they seem to have been upgraded each time and they also seem to spin faster each time. This one I ordered came with a remote and has 3 different functions including a sleep mode. Sleep mode DOES NOT in my opinion make it quieter. Although it is considerably quieter than the one in my sons room. The first one I bought is very quiet. The noise levels seem to change with each upgrade too, though none of them are exceptionally noise. An absolute best buy!

A great fan, so much better than our Dyson. Cools the room down very quickly. It is quite noisy but well worth it given its efficiency, looks great too. Unfortunately the delivery does not even rate one star. My package was just left by the gate for all to see which could very easily have been taken: no outside packaging to hide content. At the time of writing this we are in a heatwave, fans are at a premium. When will companies stop using Evri, they are a disaster and continually give a very bad service.

I usually do not like any sort of electronics within my bedroom nor do I have any micro devices to be allowed in my bedroom but this fan was made an exception due to the lack of sleep I get. I cannot sleep unless my bedroom is cold plus i get night sweats heavily regardless of it being summer or winter and whether trying to sleep or asleep. This is perfect for my bedroom! I keep this on almost 24 hours a day to keep my bedroom as cool as it can go. When I sleep I still suffer with sweats but this helps me dry quicker than without it so I'm extremely happy with ordering this fan. The noise of the fan when I first heard it was rather loud. But I've grown rather fond of the noise of the fan because it helps me to sleep faster plus it white noises my neighbours. So this fan has indeed hit 3 birds with 1 stone. Hey, it's not a common theme for someone' to say that now is it. I will have to purchase another one soon to put on the other side of my bedroom. ------------------------------------------------------ ****March 29th 2024 Update**** I have previously had 14" Schallen Chrome Silver fan from 26 June 2020 and it had lasted me for around 2 years, it does eventually stop working depending on the amount of dust that gets inside the fan and the rotatory pin. it is best you keep a can of DW40 within reach, so that when the fan slows down and/ or gets squeaky you can just simply oil the rotatory pin after taking the blades away then put it back on again. Like me i use this fan almost 24/7 because i have 2 dogs that overheat so this helps them stay calm without over drinking water. If not in use it is best to just cover the fan up with an antistatic bag to prevent dust build up. As i have now in possession from 22nd February 2024 the 18" its way better than the 14" more powerful on low setting which would probably be on medium for 14". Expecting my next order same seller, same brand and dimensions tomorrow. Very good for the price and powerful, circulates the room very well and gives me peace of mind for me, my own room and my dogs, their own room. 5/5 still.

Item was slightly different than pictured. It has a different label on front ‘PREM-I-AIR’ not SCHALLEN. It also arrived with a damaged plug which we managed to rectify by using some grippers to straighten out the metal prong on the plug so it would fit in the electric socket! It was a really hot day and we didn’t want the hassle of having to return so we kept it. Despite these issues the fan is great and works well so far. Too noisy for a bedroom

Really moves the air around. It has 3 settings but you only really need the lowest setting. Is very sturdy. Unfortunately it doesn’t oscillate though

I may be unlucky, but the fan arrived with uneven casing (improperly secured/assembled) and when turned on it wobbles and makes a lot of noise. Most likely, the blades are either not in line or the weights are out of whack. The airflow is good, I would say the lowest setting is too strong. The cable could have been longer. I really wonder what happened to quality control. This is not my responsibility to engage in risky and difficult blade rebalancing, as the FAQs suggest. Disappointed, I am returning it, as the state of the item is simply unacceptable, wishing there was an option for a replacement. Otherwise, it would have been lovely and powerful for this unbearably hot summer.
