I bought these for $4.75. They were sold by a seller who is no longer available here, but the order was fulfilled by Amazon.com. PROS: 1) Vibrant colors (blue, light green, pink, and orange) 2) Write smoothly and evenly 3) Pen opens and closes perfectly 4) Are comfortable to hold and use for long periods 5) Not too heavy 6) Contain lots of ink 7) Made in Japan 8) Ink dries quickly and does not smudge 9) Ink penetrates and adheres strongly with paper - After ample drying time, the ink remains bonded to paper, even when wet. CONS: 1) Usually, quite expensive 2) The bodies of these pens are mostly white and I preferred the black versions 3) Feel as if less plastic has been used to make these versus the black versions - I own many of the black bodied versions and have used them for years OVERALL, these are excellent pens and perfect to use.

I am female, but that doesn't mean I want to write in pink. (Don't get me started on those "pens for her".) Purple or maroon would have been nice instead. I like the other shades. As a teacher I try to avoid red pens, since I give so much feedback on writing. I know from having been a student (and a grad student) that red becomes associated with bad things...some teachers love to make papers bleed! Also, if you write creatively, gel pens like these are very easy to use. They do not catch on the paper, and the ink dries fast, so you can scribble as fast as needed.

The pens are good quality. They write nice and the ink dries pretty fast. Not really expensive. The colors also are nice, however I found the pink one kind of weak. I recommend these pens

As a student, I needed some bright pens to highlight keywords in my notes, and these are perfect. They are bright enough to be noticeable, but they are not so bright that you cannot read them. They write very smoothly and I've had no issues with them.

First,i would love to start of that i have used a pink one before that i found laying around the house and adore it very much for how smooth it was when i wrote with it,but didn't leave ink on your hand either.So to me thats a shocker,and BONUS!!!!!Until i lost it at school.So since school is about to beginning again.I thought i would spend a bit more for a fresh new year in high school.Also may i add that the ink in these pens were much more brighter then i expected for some reason.Although don't look in your local Office store instead.Buy them here.There are much much better price here.Which allowed me to buy 2 packs.Now the Pink Pen~Was a Hot Pink Color. Orange Pen~Looked a bit neon in the beginning.Although it is just a normal vibrant orange.Not dark or too light. Green Pen~It wasn't neon or a dark green.The green ink was right in between the both.Which i love since green is my favorite. Blue Pen~It's your normal blue pen,but not like a business blue pen.It is a bit lighter then that.Which i liked very much.About it.

I needed some brightly colored, retractable pens for work. These colors show up perfectly on my papers with a ton of print on them. I feel like, depending on how you tilt your pen while writing, the gel-like quality is a little inconsistent and I do wish the grips were a little softer. Overall very happy with them and ended up buying this same exact style pen in additional colors.

They write very well, smooth and the colors making writing a joy. I am big into note cards and color coordinating. Theses pens are perfect.
