Out of print in the U.S.! Digitally remastered two CD compilation from the '70s Soft Rock hitmakers with different artwork than the long-deleted U.S. version. From the late '60s to the early '80s, nobody created music as lush and beautiful as the Carpenters. They were in a class by themselves with Karen's haunting and lovely voice and Richard's expert arrangements. Unlike most of their compilations, Yesterday Once More creates different moods by featuring the tracks in non-chronological order. How can you review the Carpenters except that you give them as many stars as possible. Karen’s soulful voice never leaves you wanting anything else. The perfect music and collection of songs to listen to on a melancholy day or trying to fall asleep. Brings back so many childhood and early teenage memories. If you’re looking for music that stirs your heart this should be your choice.

Started buying physically stored music rather than start subscriptions. You never know when or if a subscription service will be unreachable for whatever reason… between the storage service getting hacked to going somewhere there is not cell service and everything between these extremes, physical media, ripping and synching with a computer, tablet or phone is worth the effort.

Didn't know this album existed. I was listening to Professor of Rock talking about the Carpenters and thought, instead of ordering all their albums, maybe there's a greatest hits album/CD somewhere. Found this here. Beautiful music.

Best Carpenters Comp
At 28 tracks, this collection has all their biggest hits. One of my faves ("There's a Kind of Hush") is included here, unlike the "Singles 1969-1981" which leaves it off. The only song missing here that would make it a 5+ stars for me, is their 1982 single "Beechwood 4-5789" which was a minor hit. The songs here are not in chronological order, so that's a (very minor) nit, but it has everything that most Carpenters fans want, in remastered sound. It's easily the top Carpenters comp, the one to get.

Great 2 disc compilation of the Carpenters
If you loved Karen's vocals and drums and Richard's piano and arrangements this could be all you really need to bring back the incredible memories of their live concerts.

Lange schon wollte ich einige Lieder von den "Carpenters" auch zu Hause hören. Jetzt hab ich diese Mischung gefunden und bin damit sehr zufrieden.

This is one of my best buys ever! If I could, I would rate it 7 out of 5. The service was quick and efficient. The plastic container for the CDs was very creative. I had never seen anything like it before but then, I don't get out much. Finally, so many terrific Carpenter songs. I could listen to the great Karen Carpenter all day. Ms. Swift is no slouch but I'm sticking with KC! Order it soon!
