Works Great
I had my old battery for 18 years. The secret is to not have it plugged in charging unless it needs it. This new battery is fine. The tool they sent with it did not work with my trimmer, but it was made with a Phillips type screw so no issues. You will have to desolder and solder the new one in. I had a little problem getting the battery and electronics back into the handle as the ribbon cable was not going in well. After a few attempts it got it to go.

Battery worked in my Norelco shaver giving it an extended life. The screwdriver is well made and helped with the replacement.

Unless you are trained in soldering don’t even try this.
It is crazy to get this apart. I finally got all of it apart to find out the battery is soldered. So I would need soldering iron to remove and put in the new one. Shouldn’t even sell a new battery. I guess I need to buy a new razor. I understand the need to keep the battery dry but then they should just say almost impossible to replace it when no longer chargeable. After all of this I went online and read how difficult it is to put this back together with all the parts lined up.

Battery is bigger than the original installed battery. Could not use.
Ordered this for my older Phillips Norelco Series 3000 shaver, which had a failing battery. Received promptly, opened up my razor to find the replacement battery is a mis-match in amperage (not a big deal), but it is also half an inch longer than the original, which means it won't fit. Not worth the effort of sending it back, but be aware of the potential size difference.

Easily replace a failing battery in your Philips Norelco Trimmer.
I used this to replace a failing battery in my Philips Norelco G380 trimmer. I found a YouTube video that showed how to open the case of the trimmer and then had the new battery soldered into the trimmer within a few minutes.

Poor Battery Life
Lasted for about a year before the battery loses charge and now needs to be recharged weekly.

The battery and screwdriver came in good condition. I have not attempted to install this yet (needs soldering), but I expect it to work. If there's a problem I will report back.
