Make great house slippers
I go to a lot of department stores and I see the slippers they have on sale. The slippers I see are... 1. Too furry as they make your feet too hot. Your feet smell and at worse case scenario, all the fur in those house slippers give you foot and nail fungus as your feet can't breathe in all the fur. 2. You feet sweat in a lot of current house slippers that are available 3. Uncomfortable as the materials many manufactures make their slippers from are of poor quality 4. Many slippers sold at department stores are not durable. At one time I bought a pair of name brand slippers (forgot the brand), and within 3 months the slippers tore up to the point I could not wear them anymore. Right now Okabashi sandals or house slippers are the only and I stress ONLY decent brand of house slippers that are worth buying. I've been buying Okabashi for about 12 years and very happy with this brand. The average life span of Okabashi I buy have been from 3 to 4 years long before I had to replace them. Right now Okabashi are the only brand of house slippers that are.... 1. Durable 2. Comfortable 3. Don't get your feet too hot or cause your feet to get foot fungus 4. Can wear with socks comfortably if your feet do get cold 5. Last at least 2 to 3 years before you have to buy new ones 6. Versatile. The rest of these other house slippers with fur, slipper soles, poor quality, lack of durability as they fall apart in 3 months or less and just flat our uncomfortable are not worth buying . Okabashi in my opinion are the BEST house slippers around.

Nice sandals and fit
I ordered these for my husband. He is very hard to find shoes that fit him and I was so happy they worked for him. He is a size 13 narrow and I ordered these 12-13 narrow and they fit him perfectly!

Good fit for me, very comfortable
I have a narrow feet (about a man's B or C width, size 11) and I ordered the 10.5-11.5 Narrow size. They fit very well. My wife is from Japan, and we don't wear shoes in the house and I leave one pair of sandals in the front entrance of our home and another outside the back door and use them when I need to spend a few minutes outside and don't want to put my regular shoes on. It's a habit I picked up while living in Japan. If my previous experience with Okabashi sandals holds true, these should last about five years of this type of use, perhaps longer, since my previous ones are the ones that have two narrow straps connecting to the soles that eventually break, while this type has a single long connection.

Good, basic sandal. Affordable and made in the USA.
I wanted to find some USA made sandals, but it seems most brands are made in China or are very expensive. Then I found these Okabashi sandals. They're made in the USA and are 100% recyclable. In fact, you can mail them back to the company for recycling when you're done with them. the sandals were more rubbery than I expected, but I really had no idea what to expect. They're made of sturdy rubber that is comfortable. I've had these for about 8 months and I've been very satisfied. I don't know why Amazon doesn't have a picture of this sandal. You can find it on Okabashi's website. EDIT - long-term update. I've now had these sandals about one year and I wear them quite a bit. I haven't experienced the breakage that others complain about. These sandals are working great and I'll definitely buy another pair when these wear out.

Left shoe loose fitting
I typically don't write Amazon reviews, although I buy a variety of different items from Amazon including clothing, shoes, appliances, food items, and much more. Over the years I have owned several pairs of Okabashi sandals that were bought from local walk-in retailers. We moved several years ago into a more rural area where Okabashi is not available which is why I bought them through Amazon. I was looking forward to my new sandals as both of my old repairs have worn out. My new sandals arrived and was disappointed that the left sandal appears to have an the issue in the sizing of the width. It is inconsistent with the right. Some might say that this is due to one of my feet being smaller when in actuality it is a function of not matching the correct size of each sandal with its mate or poor craftsmanship. I love Okabashi and have recommended them to friends and family for the past 20 years and am not trying to disparage them. Made in the USA carries weight with me and am confident this is a minor mistake by a factory worker. I will return these sandals and order a second pair as a replacement. Stay tuned for my next review.

Not the same quality!!
I have been buying these sandals for years but they are not the same quality today as they have been in the past. Only had this pair for a few months and already tearing on the strap across the top . Also they are much more expensive.

A gift
A while back my father gave me a pair of these as a gift. I thought "weird" at first but didn't say anything since they were a gift. He told me to use them in public places like when I shower after working out at the gym or at swimming pools. In fact, the first time I wore them was on the way to the shower after working out at the gym. Man! What a game changer. After showering I realized I wanted to wear them again. For the next several years I wore these suckers everywhere. It didn't matter what clothe I wore. It didn't matter if I went to pick up a gallon of milk or on a hot date. People assumed I was from some place like Bethlehem and roaming the earth for the next party. Or some people thought I belonged to some remote Amazonian tribe. I didn't care. My feet were free and healthy despite the miles and miles of walking. I wore these from Mexico to Europe without fear. I still have the original pair. In comparison, the originals lasted longer due to the thickness and seemed a bit stiffer. The newer models seem softer and more flexible. I don't travel as much as I used too. But I do wonder if these newer models would handle the stress of back packing through Europe for two years like my old pair did. I still wear them every chance I get. The occasional milk run, taking my son to baseball practice, etc. Sometimes I wear them to work. It's my little way of sticking it to the system. Call me an oldie, but my old pair would have five stars. They deserve that recognition. Four stars for the new pair.

These are way to wide for me.
I'm a US size 11 so opted for the narrow US 10.5-11 narrow and they are far to wide. I have a narrow foot and fairly long toes. The length is fine but I can fit two fingers easily on the sides and top and my foot tries to slide out the front when I walk. Also the toe arch Ridge is to far forward. Really disappointed but I shouldn't have paid so much for something I hadn't tried before. If you have narrow feet maybe try a size smaller but I'd be worried they'd be the same just shorter and end up to short.

Suitable for women with non-narrow feet
I am a woman wearing US size 8, happy with ML on this sandal. No glue on this so scrubbing with brush shouldn't be an issue.

These are excellent quality flip flop sandals. It was a little too large for me but the vendor addressed the issue promptly.
