I am so happy I did
Read an article recommending this brand mill. After repeatedly buying cheaper mills that broke after a few months and sometimes weeks, I made this purchase. I am so happy I did. These are great mills, no jamming of the mechanism and the gears grind the seasoning easily. The colors are a great addition to my table as well.

Paint chipping off into food
The yellow paint is starting to flake off where the top and bottom sections grind together. Hoping just for pepper in my food, not paint dust! :(And this was our replacement one - the first had chips and marks on it and looked used. Amazon handled the replacement well, but it's just not a good product.

Arrived Broken
Normally, I would give any Peugeot pepper mill a marvelous review. We already have five, each for our favorite peppers. However, this one arrived with a large crack. I'm confident that this was not a case of "damaged during shipment" as none of the other items it was shipped with had significant damage. There were also no lacquer chips, splinters, or other indicators of an impact in the box. As far as I can tell, Amazon flat out sent me a cracked pepper mill.If this wasn't damaged before shipment, I could see how it would end up with a crack! The pepper mill had no more packaging than a thin plastic sleeve. Be wary of ordering this item or other Peugeots fulfilled by Amazon. They don't treat the product with care.
