Burt's Bees Renewal Refining Cleanser with Bakuchiol Natural Retinol Alternative, 6 Oz (Package May Vary)

The ingredients are amazing and product gives me a cooling relaxing sensation that leaves my face feeling fresh. Just wish the price was a little lower but when I budget, this is definitely worth it.

Love this product! I have very dry skin and rosacea so it has been so hard to find a product that is gentle, natural, and lightly exfoliates. I can easily use this product everyday. The beads in this cleanser don't feel rough on your skin, or irritate my sensitive skin, and your face doesn't feel sticky after washing the product off (like I have experienced so many times before with other cleansers, even the very expensive ones). Makes your skin feel so soft and ready to take in moisturizer. I recommend also using one of the renewal creams afterward. I noticed other reviews commenting on the smell. It has a natural floral aroma with the apples and hibiscus. You also don't need to use a lot of it. Just a tiny dab goes a long way, so to me the fragrance really doesn't linger, even though, I do find the scent enjoyable and not overwhelmingly fragrant at all.

The texture is amazing- creamy, thick, and luscious with just the right amount of exfoliating stuff, which is more beadlike and not gritty. The only downside (for me) is that the smell is very strong. There’s sunflower oil in it and that’s what i smell. To me it smells exactly like that sunflowers perfume that was so popular in the mid 90s. If you like the smell of sunflowers, it’s no problem. I personally don’t. It doesn’t give me a migraine, but I deliberately don’t breathe through my nose the entire time I’m using it, because I can “feel” the scent in my head. Fellow Migrainers, you know what I’m talking about. It’s a testament to the texture of the cream and the way it makes my skin feel after that I’m using it in spite of the scent. I’m going to check Burt’s Bees to see if they have something similar but without the sunflower oil.

I did not like this at first because of the smell. I can smell the apple and the flowery scent of what I assume is hibiscus. It's not strong or over powering, I just didn't care for it at first. But it cleans really, really well. Gentle, deep clean too. My skin actually has improved a lot since moving towards the Burt's Bees products. The exfoliating nature of this is good too. I can feel it working and it's not harsh. Now that I can accept the smell, I really like it. Leave my skin feeling soft and refreshed. I use it in the morning in the shower and it really makes my morning face a little brighter.

I had recently bought some Burr’s Bees toothpaste that I loved. I was looking for a new moisturizer and decided I would try theirs. I read reviews and did have some initial concerns about the scent. I am sensitive to smells, especially any floral scents, plus I have sensitive skin. I decided to risk it. The pictures attached are after a week of use. The smell was not an issue for me. I didn’t think it had a strong scent, at all. Unfortunately, for my sensitive skin, this did not work. At first I noticed breaking out around my lips and just brushed it off to being chapped. And then I started having further breakouts around my mouth. A day later my hives showed up. I haven’t used it in three days and my rash is starting to look better but it’s still not gone. Of course, just because my sensitive skin couldn’t handle it doesn’t mean yours won’t. For the cleanser, I was looking for a gentle exfoliant that would reduce my dry, flaky skin issues. This did not help. I still had dry flaky skin within an hour of washing my face and moisturizing.

i found this by accident in amazon searching /shopping. its really nice. very useful in my morning. has a nice scent ,skin softening as well.

I love how the texture feels like a good exfoliating scrub. However, I find the scent is pretty overpowering and doesn't smell natural at all. It's almost like someone wearing too much perfume. I don't think I'm particularly sensitive to smells but I find this one pretty intense.
