I bought these to use as a special mother's day project...I had my daughters draw on mugs with them for their grandmothers and then we put them in the oven. The paint sticks to the mug, even with repeated washing and microwave use. I've done this project before, but I used regular Sharpies. If you use regular Sharpies, the color doesn't come out right and eventually the color will wash away. Then, I actually did some research into why my project didn't work when so many blogs say it does. That's when I realized I needed these oil based Sharpie paint pens. My 2.5 year old loved working with them. I loved that the color came out evenly and cleanly every time...no drying or spottiness. My daughter also discovered that if you put pressure on the tip, paint will pour out of the marker. She loved creating pools of paint, that we then moved into different designs by rotating the mug. These paint pens didn't fade once we cooked the mugs--the color is vibrant. I highly recommend these for mug projects--and any project really. They work on every surface we tried to put them on (painter's tape, laminated fabric). Great color and clean lines.

Excellent markers. Dry quick, goes on thick and dries bold. They are amazing to be able to write on any type of material.

I don't feel that I have quite enough experience with these yet to give a, well....EXPERIENCED review, but I do have what I hope are a couple of helpful points. First off, these are all individually shrink wrapped within the display package It's worrisome that in this day and that that would be something special instead of obvious, but since that IS the case: I think that's brilliant on the part of Sharpie. 2.) The instructions for starting the pen up from clean/new, were clear and effective 3.) The feel when writing on copper garden tags was a bit loose, but that is absolutely to be expected. The coverage of paint with one application seems to be okay. It still seems light to me, but after a week, I've finally gotten them in our community garden, and my co-plot worker said, "Wow, those look great!" 4.) I wasn't so sure about the "Medium" Point. This is the first time I've ever personally used these though. I LOVE Sharpie markers in general, particularly their fine point, large reservoir markers. But my positive bias aside, I came to these with an open mind. If the point was any finer, it would be too narrow, and if it was wider, I wouldn't be able to fit the letters on the copper row markers. These are perfect. All in all, I'm at 4+ stars, and these have reinforced my positive feeling about Sharpie products. They are absolutely perfect for my specific needs in this case. Orange paint on the marker for carrots, Green for Spinach....they look great. I don't remember what I paid for these, but I'm a miser when it comes to things like this, so I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND these markers.

I love these oil-based Sharpies. I use them to write my students' names on the tables. I love how they come in different colors, and they dry quickly. Great value for your money!

I was hesitant about buying these to decorate white ceramic mugs, because I wanted the design to last at least for some time. However, so far they seem fine (I'll update this review if it changes). Here is what I did: bought mugs at the dollar store (maybe the cheaper / thicker ceramic works better?); drew an intricate design on the mugs: the paint went on smoothly and once a surface was dry you could another color on top of it. I then put the mugs into a cold oven (I put them in before preheating) and turned it on to 350 for 30 mins. I then turned the oven off, and left them inside for several hours until the oven cooled off completely. I've since washed the mugs by hand - NOT dishwasher (nervous to do that) and the design is fine. Things to note: out of the oven the colors come out a bit darker/ not as bright as they look when just painted. As an experiment I put one of the mugs into the oven twice and that made the colors darker and more muted, but I wonder if it means that the paint will be more permanent.

I love these paint markers. I use them to write student names o ln their desks, they last until I remove them with rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer. They are vibrant and great colors!

Yet another product from Sharpie that is absolutely fantastic! I wanted to try some fun and bright colors on canvas for crafting. They're PERFECT and I'm so glad I was able to find these. The pens are true to the photos and description. The colors out of the pens are true to the cap colors in the photos as well.

Me gustan mucho estos plumones base aceite, son difíciles de conseguir, pero la verdad son muy útiles para decorados; aunque se corren con el barniz, por lo que es recomendable utilizar un sellador o mod podge previo al barniz
