Installed this on my golf cart to replace the factory battery gauge and it works great. The voltage reading is accurate and gives a much better idea of battery health compared to the stock bar indicator. The blue display looks clean and matches well with modern setups. Installation is simple (just 2 wires), but make sure you connect it to a switched power source (key ON). If you hook it directly to constant power, the screen will stay on and drain your batteries over time. Also note: if you’re replacing a factory meter, some of those wires may be part of other circuits (like lights), so double check before disconnecting anything. Overall, solid upgrade and very useful for diagnosing battery performance under load.

I didn't find the "advanced" menus, even after multiple attempts, but I didn't see them as offering anything that useful either, as I just wanted a display of the battery state for my kids powerwheel when I upgraded it to use a 40V battery, which for that, it does a splendid job of. The display is clear, easy to read, and shows what I want to know. %, Voltage, and a "1-6" segment display of battery life. So I can really easily tell at a glance how close my kid is to killing the battery. (So far, VERY FAR...)

they work really well for a quick check on the battery. had 4 of them for about a year had to replace one of them recently not sure what happened to it but did buy the same one and probably will buy more for other batteries

I have two separate solar power systems powering different parts of my house. Both battery banks have Bluetooth shunts but I also wanted something simple just to show battery voltage at a glance. I bought two of these and I'm very happy with them. I don't depend on them to give me a really accurate state of charge on the batteries but I've found them to be quite useful for getting a rough idea about where they stand.

Note: The back button is "setting". The front button is "function". 1 - Connect the cable to the battery 2 - Hold down the setting button and plug in the connector 3 - Release the setting button and you should see P01. P is the type of battery: P = lead acid, L = lithium, F - lithium iron phosphate 4 - Press the setting button to select P, L or F 5 - The number 01 is the number of cells or battery types For lead acid batteries, P: 01 = one 12v battery, 02 = two 12v batteries, etc. For lithium batteries, L: 01 = one 3.7v cell, 02 = two 3.7v cells, etc. For lithium iron phosphate, F: 01 = one 3.2v cell, 02 = two 3.2v cells, etc. 6 - Press the setting button to add 1 to the number, function button to subtract 1 7 - After setting, e.g., P01, hold the function button down to display S - 1 8 - Press the setting button to select 1 - 5 1 = Rotating display every 2 sec 2 = Automatic turnoff in 10 sec 3 = Backlight stays on 4 - Show logo 5 - Discharge mode S-3 is the default setting to press the function button to cycle %, Volts, off 9 - Unplug the connector to save the settings 10 - Plug the connector back in

The display covering is a bit delicate, and when I accidentally tossed it into my fishing tackle box, I noticed a tiny frosted mark on the screen. (No points off, because I should have treated it a bit more carefully.) This is awesome, because, I already ran out of battery twice and had to paddle home, but with this monitor, no more paddling is needed. The program is fairly easy to set for the battery type and voltage, and once you set up the choice you want, it remembers it until you wish to reset for another purpose. (even after disconnected from any power). I wish that it would beep when it reaches the alarm zone, but it only flashes, so you have to keep your eyes on it. But having the peace of mind to knowing just how much battery is left is priceless!

it always reads 100%. but the battery i bought lifep04 was mentioned in the writeup that this device does not work on the particular battery. I was warned but did not pay any attention. my fault

I bought this to integrate into a motor controller build for a trolling motor. It works great and is highly visible day or night. I like knowing the condition of my battery throughout the period of use and this makes that possible with sufficient accuracy. I liked this meter so much that I bought two more to use in other upcoming dc power projects.

Looks ok should work for what I need just need to finish building the bike before hook up

The item doesn't read the voltage and when I asked about a different one they never replied. Plus if I want to return the item I have to pay have the cost of what i paid for the item
