Mono Filament Strapping Tape, 2 Roll 2 Inch x 35 Yards 5.5 Mil, Heavy Duty Transparent Reinforced Fiberglass Tape

Size: Mono 2" x 60y 2-PackWhenever I ship a package I always use mono filament tape because of its binding strength and, due to its extreme sticky grip, security against unauthorized opening while in transit.I use the curved handle of my scissors to rub over the tape entirely to firmly press and seal it to my boxes, then any attempt to remove it will tear off the top layer of cardboard the tape has made contact.

This is some fantastic tape I was just using it to build my lithium batteries but I've been using it for other stuff but because it's so strong duct tape can eat It's Hard Out! It's easy to use of course and they wanted me to talk about the size it's a perfectly adequate size

Strong tape. Good deal. Surprisingly, I used it to repair the side Shelf on the door of our refrigerator that holds the milk juice Etc. We had been putting too much stuff in that plastic drawer and it completely cracked in half. I glued the plastic back together and then use this tape to totally reinforce it. Now that shelf is stronger than and when it was new and the tape Blended in with the Shelf color nicely so you cannot even see there is a repair unless you look closely. I imagine it will also be great for securely bundling packages to be sent via mail, FedEx or UPS. One last benefit is that it did not have the tendency to stick on itself and be hard to pull the tape out like other tapes often do. A+

This tape is very strong and fits my tape guns perfectly to help with heavy packaging. Will order again.

I bought this tape to reinforce an old windsurfing sail where the mylar had degraded badly. Strength, adhesion, water-resistance, weather-resistance, and strength were the main concerns. So far, after 3 sessions, the tape has held up well, and the torn sail areas have not let loose.My application was for a non-porous surface, where the grip was strong. On cloth or cardboard, I wouldn't expect it to hold nearly as well.I would NOT use this tape where any other type of tape would suffice. It is difficult to cut, requiring scissors, and the adhesive ends up sticking to the scissors. Only a few cuts can be made before the scissors need cleaing, either with acetone or by using a scrap piece of tape.The mil thickness is something of a red herring... it depends on how much you squash down the fiberglass threads when you measure it. Between the threads, it's thinner. It's plenty strong in the direction of the threads, which is what matters.

This is very good filament tape I used it to ship a 35 lb. package via the post office and it kept it together.

This tape is super super sticky and is really good for shipping boxes! I love it. The only challenge is it leaves a sticky residue on scissors! I have to constantly scrub the residue off . I would recommend a separate pair of scissors for this tape. That said it is the only strapping tape I buy ! Love it.

Wow if you need heavy duty packaging tape, this is it. Highly recommend this tape if your packaging heavy items.
