Tipton Cotton Patches .17-.22 Caliber - 100 Count for Firearm Cleaning and Maintenance

These small patches are great if you are using a jag. The brass or nickel jags work best, as the fit is very snug. I've cut the 1 inch patches in half for .22 bores, so these provide a welcome change to that routine. If you are using them with the slotted attachment or with larger calibers, they might be a bit small. As far as the material, I'm seeing very few threads and no lint flying off. No tearing - they are quite strong enough.

Great for 22LR and smaller. Shouldn’t use for anything larger.

I used this on my 17 mag AND my air rifle....work great!! I will continue to use these and buy in the future, better than any other patch I have used. I collect older guns and will be getting many other sizes. I can always cut the large sizes if needed for some of the obscure guns I have .

They put the size right there up front and somehow I was surprised that they were smaller than I'd like. 3/4" is probably good for .17 or .177, but .22 or .223, not so much The patches are exactly as advertised and the price is right. To me they're useless, nevertheless I gotta give 'em 5 stars.

Very good quality patches. These work very well. They do a much better job than the paper ones.

These are the smallest .22 patches I ever used. I thought they were too small to work. They work fantastically well with the jags with the little point on the end.

Pellet and 22 cal. Are bright and shiney with these . Plenty of patch to clean my barrels for my lifetime anyways .

These patches are not effective for 22 caliber guns. they are to small. They may work for 17 caliber. They are 3/4 inch square. There is 1000 of them and they are made form cotton. I would think a 1 inch square would be better for a 22 caliber.
