can this be machine dried?

Yes. They recommend turning it inside out first. I haven't noticed any cracking after 5 times through the washer/dryer.

Can the colors be mixed? For example, could you mix red and white to get pink?

They you can mix the fabric paint together to make a new color.

Can this be thinned with water and used in a squirt gun for a "paint wars" t-shirt?

No, the paint is not able to be thinned out. Paint stains and will not washout.
