Fun game for strategizing. I had thought it might be a nuisance to have to turn the pieces over because you do that A LOT in this game. But it's not. It's relaxing. This set is made well, seems to be of high quality and durable. Size is comfortable for adult hands. Made to keep the playing pieces securely stored when you're done.

My husband and I love to play games...I like to keep one or two out on the table so we can play a quick game while eating, taking a break from work, etc. This looks great just sitting out, but also inspires us to use our brains and spend a little more time together. Great quality and nice to look at!

Kids (5,5,8) love this game and they were quick to pick up on how to play. The only issue is that we didn’t get a full set of black/white pegs and when I contacted the company it was going to be $30 to get more. The quality is really nice and I am glad I bought this wooden version over the plastic green board one.

The wooden game board is sturdy and a great size for a coffee table. This family friendly game is easy for adults or children starting grade 2, due to the simple rules and gameplay ease. The cost was reasonable compared to other selections.

Nice classic wooden feel. Good to keep out in the open, kinda like a minature rock garden, except you only have to worry about two colors and the placement of the pegs. If you riding a Jeep or a camel or a horse across rugged plains or rocky mountains or roads with potholes, this is not very travel friendly. On the plane that is not erratically shaking or falling from the sky, this is travel friendly. If you carry a plastic bag with you, you can save your game progress by putting the unused pegs in the bag, and closing the game board. Opening the game board will show your game as you left it. To be very honest, in the regular othello game with the disc pieces, I've almost eaten one of the pieces because I was also eating finger food at the same time. These pegs feel less like something you would eat. In terms of safety in eating and travel friendliness, it's much safer to eaten wooden pegs than to eat magnets. If you swallow two magnets, they may attach in your intestine, which would require surgery to get out. Wooden pegs do not attach in the intestine, so they are safer to eat. You probably shouldn't eat them, outside of accidentally eating them.

Quality wood along with the pcs.

Well made product. There are very minor imperfections such as the bored holes are not always the exact same depth. But this makes it feel less mass produced and personally I like it being a little quirky.
