Only complaint I have with this product is that the first package I received the adapter did not work. Pyle didn't care to fix the issue even though I contacted them the day I received the package. Amazon replaced the entire package with no problem and it arrived one day before it was due to be here. When we hooked it up it came right on and everything works and sounds GREAT!

I'm far from a microphone professional, but I have started doing some DJ work on the side. It was once a hobby, but has slowly turned into source of extra cash. I was booked for a gig and the organization wanted to do a forum type seminar, and their request was for 4 wireless mics. I immediately went to my local Guitar Center, and I was shocked at some of the prices of the mics. I then went online and did some research, and came across the Pyle 8 wireless mic system. I was shocked at how low the price was ($219 + free shipping) and I read the few reviews that were posted. Now, again, I'm no mic specialist, and some of the reviews were really good, then some were not so good. I went with my gut and said to myself that Pyle has been around for quite some time, and I'm sure that there has to be a level of quality associated with the device. Upon arrival, I immediately began to test the mics out. Low and behold, the sound and the clarity was awesome! The setup is very easy and the packaging is even better, where the box is designed as a suitcase, where you can easily travel with it. However, while setting up at the event, I realized that 3 of the mics were not working at all. They were D.O.A. Luckily, there were 5 others to choose from. The batteries are lower end batteries, but served their purpose. If you plan on using these mics on a day to day basis, I would suggest investing in the higher end batteries, if not rechargeable. Also, when storing the mics, always take the batteries out. You will save money in the long term. There is very little feedback from the mics though nothing major, and there isn't a major delay when speaking into the mic. The mics are sturdy, but not heavy. They are designed well and look very professional. Overall, for the price, you can't go wrong with these mics. Keep in mind, that I do not use them on a daily basis, therefore my rating may be a tad different than someone that has to use their mics on a day to day basis. In closing, the mics come with a one year warranty, therefore this should take care of the DOA mics that I received. I would give the mics 3.8 stars for the quality and sound, but the DOA is a big deal, especially if I needed more than 4 mics at that time. Overall, you can't go wrong with this item as well as with the best price around. Overall B+

These mics are affordable, reliable, and work great. They are simple to use and adjustment couldn't be easier. They use up alot of batteries so we always have extra on hand. They are a bit heavy so if you plan to use them with boom mike stands they will tip over from the weight. My solution to the problem was to put a brick on the stands base. Great value!!!!!! For our small church they are an answer to prayer.

I was looking for a set of microphones to use for awhile while upgrading my system at our church. Upon getting the box the first thing I noticed is that the "1/4'' Individual line outputs & Mixed 1/4'' Outputs" as advertised here, actually meant one 1/4" out for all 8 microphones, and one xlr, both obviously mixed. You cannot input each microphone separately into a soundboard. I thought since there is at least volume controls, we could make it work. I mean what a great deal for a short term fix. I tested the mics for dead spots, mics 1, 2, 3 were great no dead spots anywhere in the building (4,000 square feet) and then mic 4 would not work at all. The next 4 mics had dead spots every 3-5 feet starting with 5 feet of the actual receiver. Used the 3 mics for 2 Services just because we needed to, and then mic 1 and 2 began to cut out. YIKES!! Thank the good Lord I ordered through Amazon since I couldn't get help from the company themselves... Returned!

Quality Sound and also awesome distance from the receiver. This set of mics works great for just speaking and at the same time for the large to group to solo singers. Normally I have had issues with other cordless mics crossing signals but the Pyle Pro PDWM8400 there is no issue with that. I personally recommend these mics to anyone DJ Karaoke Host and group that is looking for a quality Mic.

2 of the 6 micrphones don't work, one of them the button to turn it on wont move and the other the power light is on but there is no sound at all, its not connecting to the board. I need this for two performances this Saturday. :-(

So, as soon as I opened it one of the antennas was broken so only half of the microphones work. I'm sure I would love the produ t if I had one that worked properly.

Extremely pleased with this product, and think it is an excellent and value buy for what it delivers. I ordered from the UK where equaivalent systems would cost in excess of £1300 pounds. Extremely durable, hard wearing and very easy to use. We use it for school productions with young children who consequently mishandle the mics. The microphones can pick up voice from 1 foot away if put on max and the range is also very good. It even comes with batteries and a nice foam box to hold the microphones. We have broken 3 systems to date but this one is heavy duty. I would recommended it but am not a professional. You will need to organise your microphones though when on stage so you know which one is 1,2,3 etc. I cannot fault the product nor even the dispatch time. TOP marks to Pyle!

I was very excited when I saw this product on Amazon because I was looking at another similar product called VocoPro UHF-8800 Wireless Microphone System. The vocopro UHF- 8800 was what I wanted because of it beauty that every microphone has a colour I was very intrigued but to my disappointment it was an American product with 110Volt which was not suitable for the UK 240 Volt. I decided the buy the Pyle-Pro PDWM8400 Hand held Wireless 8 Microphone to my disappointment I realised that this was a very bad and crap product. It was not what they mentioned in the description of the product. There are many Problems of this product: 1: This first problem was that it fades out very quickly in the quality of the sound from clear to blur sound very squeaky sound like a speaker are burst. 2: The is frequent cut/break in sound and during this period not all the microphones will work effectively 3: The batteries run out quickly even when you buy heavy duty batteries. 4: The distance and sign of the microphones is very poor 5: Not all 8 microphones work at the same time you have to turn off maybe microphone 6 and 8 before you to get clearer sound. 6: The clarity of the sound will only be archived in few microphones out of the 8 and this will fade away as you use to talk or sing drastically. It is a shame that Amazon sells such product on their web site without testing or gets clarity about the quality of products like this. There is no value for money far from it, bad product no value and farfetched. I only had time to find out about these issues after using it for several months. If I had my way I want to return it to the seller. I will not recommend anyone to buy such a product this is a complete waste of money if you buy one of the Pyle-Pro PDWM8400 Hand held Wireless 8 Microphone. They are not good it should be taken off this web site. This product is completely useless product very deceiving product. The truth is that the description of the product on Amazon is a total lie. Please, Please do not buy such a product it is a waste of money if you do. I dislike this product because of the many problems I highlighted and the misleading information about this product.

You pay for 8 mics but only 6 will work, advice from customers service is..........dont use them two....so in the end you will have only 6 out of 8. Found out that mic 6 and mic 8 will cause all others not to work. To solve the problem remove batteries completely from mic 6 and 8 and the rest of the mics will work. The other 6 mics work perfectly and sound quality is good for price. You will need to get good quality batteries straight away. it comes with cheap batteries.

Item worked okay our of box but very poor quality build. Battery contacts broke on 3 of mics after 1st use.
