MXBAOHENG High Speed Homogenizer Lab Disperser Emulsifier 5~1000ml Speed Adjustable 6000~22000rpm w/ 2 Working Heads (110V)

I purchased this machine for lab-scale homogenization of cosmetic emulsions. It performs well, creating more stable emulsions than handheld blenders, and manages quite well with more viscous mixes. The attached picture shows a facial cream at about 70,000cps when warm and almost 100,000cps when fully cool. The homogenizer quickly dispersed the cool-down phase into the rest of the batch. The machine comes with two 50mL plastic test tubes and two blending heads, one slightly larger than the other. I find the larger one is far better suited to viscous emulsions, while the smaller one performs better with thinner mixtures. The machine is easy to operate and has a digital display to show the mixing speed in real-time. While running, the machine is fairly loud, but not noticeable louder than a home Vitamix blender or vacuum cleaner. I find the machine to be an excellent value and great for batches under 1000mL. I believe it would make a good investment for small labs or DIYers.

This homogenizer is defective. There is no slow speed control function. In order to turn on the machine, I have to move the speed control knob to the middle of the blue dots to turn it on & when moving it up, the machine still not working in none of the blue dots. NONE of the blue dots works to slow speed the homogenizer !!! The homogenizer started working when I placed the speed control knob to on the second RED dot, that's when the machine started working but if I wanted to slow speed control the homogenizer, I can't because NONE of the BLUE dots works at all !!!! If I want to homogenize an emulsion made with any high molecule, to maintain their breakage of small molecules to a minimum, I cant do that because the slow control feature doesn't work at all !!! And to turn off the machine, it ONLY gets turned off in the middle of the BLUE dots !!! And doesn't turn on/off as marked on the machine !!!! As you can clearly see on my video about everything that I mentioned above !!!!! Half of the machine control speed is for slow speed control and the other half of the machine is for high speed control but HALF of the machine slow speed control doesnt WORK !!!!

Works well so far for making water soluble CBD tinctures. The two working heads are great. The smaller head is great for smaller batches up to 250ml in my opinion. The larger head is good for batches up to 1 liter. What they don't mention is the tips of the outside sleeve of the heads can be unscrewed as well to make cleaning the inside even easier. The tips of the head sleeves are reverse threaded, so keep that in mind.

Things to note when buying: 1) For the first 5-10 uses the head imparts small pieces of metal shards, so beware as it will spoil your emulsions. 2) The digital display rarely worked, and stopped working all together after about 3 months of sporadic use (it is now blank). 3) You can run it for 30 seconds max before you smell rubber burning. 4) Have been using this sporadically, it creates okay emulsions, but you always live in fear knowing it will stop any minute and there will be nothing you can do about it lol. Happy to update review if I can receive a working replacement.

It stopped displaying the speed first time using so it remains at zero but other than that still works

I reached out to the seller and they never responded. This machine came with 2 heads. The smaller head operates , not quietly but not super noisy. The larger head has the sound of metal to metal. It is very very loud. The machine itself works good. I only use the small head but it emulsifies very well and extremely fast. I use it to make lotion. Overall a good product.

We wanted to try out a homogenizer before we spent a bundle on a big super expensive one and this has been great!! Thousands of bottles of homogenized mixtures later, still working great!

It works just as well and is easier to use than the one we already have that cost us 10 times more years ago. Excellent value!

I use this product for my skincare formulations, it was excellent helper for me, making my work much easier.
